The Influence Of Lifestyle, Financial Attitude, And Financial Knowledge On The Financial Literacy Of Management Students At Panca Budi University
Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the extent to which lifestyle, financial attitudes, and financial knowledge influence the level of financial literacy among students of the Management Study Program at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi. The research employed a quantitative method with a causal associative approach aimed at investigating the relationships and effects among the variables studied. A total of 76 students were selected as research respondents. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires and subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that lifestyle has a positive and statistically significant effect on students' financial literacy. In addition, financial attitudes play an important role in enhancing students' understanding of financial matters and exert a positive and significant influence on financial literacy. Financial knowledge was also found to have a positive and significant impact on financial literacy. Collectively, these three factors were able to explain 79.6% of the variation in students' financial literacy levels, while the remaining 20.4% was attributed to other variables not included in the research model. These findings indicate that lifestyle, financial attitudes, and financial knowledge are key factors contributing to the development and improvement of students' financial literacy.
