JOURNAL POLICY • TRANSPARENCY & RESEARCH INTEGRITY
Corrections, Retractions & Withdrawal Policy
Jurnal Akuntansi, Manajemen dan Bisnis Digital (JAMBD)
JAMBD uses transparent post-publication mechanisms to correct errors and protect the integrity of the permanent scholarly record.
1. Corrections
A correction may be issued when an error or omission does not invalidate the main findings but affects interpretation, attribution, metadata, author information, tables, figures, or another important detail. The notice will be linked to the original article.
2. Retractions
Retraction may be appropriate when findings are unreliable because of major error or misconduct; plagiarism is substantial; unethical research occurred; duplicate or fraudulent publication occurred; peer review or authorship was manipulated; or another serious issue makes the record unreliable.
3. Expression of Concern
An Expression of Concern may be issued when credible concerns exist but evidence is inconclusive, an investigation is ongoing, or the responsible institution cannot provide a timely resolution.
4. Withdrawal Before Publication
Authors may request withdrawal before publication with a written reason. Withdrawal is not automatic once peer review or production is underway, especially where integrity concerns remain unresolved.
5. Removal of Published Content
Complete removal is exceptional and considered only for compelling legal, privacy, safety, or court-order reasons. Where feasible, bibliographic metadata and an explanatory notice will remain.
6. Notice Standards
Formal notices identify the affected article, explain the reason sufficiently for readers to understand the action, and remain freely accessible.
Policy Commitment
JAMBD applies this policy consistently to protect editorial independence, research integrity, transparency, and the reliability of the scholarly record.
