JOURNAL POLICY • TRANSPARENCY & RESEARCH INTEGRITY
Authorship & Contributorship Policy
Jurnal Akuntansi, Manajemen dan Bisnis Digital (JAMBD)
JAMBD requires transparent, accurate, and accountable attribution of authorship and scholarly contributions.
1. Authorship Criteria
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions. Authors should normally satisfy all of the following conditions:
- substantial contribution to the conception/design, data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, or another substantive scholarly component;
- participation in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content;
- approval of the final version; and
- accountability for the integrity and accuracy of the work.
2. Contributorship Statement
Published articles should include a clear author-contribution statement. Recommended contribution roles include Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal Analysis, Investigation, Data Curation, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review & Editing, Visualization, Supervision, Project Administration, and Funding Acquisition.
3. Corresponding Author
The corresponding author coordinates communication with the journal, confirms author approval, ensures accurate authorship information, and responds to editorial and post-publication queries.
4. Changes in Authorship
Requests to add, remove, reorder, or replace authors must be submitted in writing with justification and agreement from all affected authors. Post-publication changes require a formal correction when justified.
5. Unacceptable Practices
Guest, gift, honorary, ghost, purchased, coercive, or fabricated authorship is prohibited. Non-author contributors should be acknowledged with permission.
Disputes and Concerns
JAMBD may request documentary evidence of contribution and may suspend processing until a credible authorship dispute is resolved.
Policy Commitment
JAMBD applies this policy consistently to protect editorial independence, research integrity, transparency, and the reliability of the scholarly record.
