Post-Publication Discussion Policy
Jurnal Akuntansi, Manajemen dan Bisnis Digital (JAMBD)
JAMBD supports evidence-based scholarly debate after publication and provides mechanisms for raising concerns and correcting the record.
1. Purpose
Constructive criticism, replication findings, methodological concerns, requests for clarification, and evidence relevant to reliability may be brought to the journal’s attention.
2. Channels
Readers may submit reasoned post-publication correspondence through the official editorial contact. JAMBD may also consider substantive concerns raised on recognized moderated scholarly discussion platforms where the concern can be verified.
3. Requirements
Correspondence should identify the article clearly, focus on scholarly or ethical issues, distinguish evidence from opinion, avoid abusive language, and disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
4. Editorial Assessment
The editor assesses relevance, specificity, supporting evidence, and materiality. Authors may be invited to respond. Independent experts or institutions may be consulted when necessary.
5. Outcomes
Possible outcomes include a response, clarification, correction, expression of concern, retraction, or other editorial notice. Minor issues may be resolved through correspondence.
6. Preservation of Debate
Formal post-publication notices and responses are linked to the article wherever technically possible.
Policy Commitment
JAMBD applies this policy consistently to protect editorial independence, research integrity, transparency, and the reliability of the scholarly record.
