JOURNAL POLICY • TRANSPARENCY & RESEARCH INTEGRITY
Research Data / Data Availability Policy
Jurnal Akuntansi, Manajemen dan Bisnis Digital (JAMBD)
JAMBD promotes transparent and responsible research-data management while respecting legitimate ethical, legal, privacy, contractual, and commercial restrictions.
1. Data Availability Statement
Each research article should include a Data Availability Statement indicating where supporting data can be found or why access is restricted.
2. Data Sharing
Authors are encouraged to deposit non-sensitive data, code, instruments, protocols, and relevant supplementary material in a trusted repository where appropriate, with persistent identifiers where available.
3. Restricted or Confidential Data
If data cannot be shared publicly because of confidentiality, law, institutional restrictions, proprietary agreements, or other legitimate reasons, the restriction must be explained and controlled or de-identified access should be described where possible.
4. Data Integrity and Retention
Authors are responsible for preserving sufficient research records to support published findings and for providing relevant evidence to the journal when a credible integrity concern is investigated, subject to lawful and ethical limitations.
5. Third-Party Data
Authors using third-party or licensed datasets must comply with applicable reuse terms and provide enough information for readers to identify the data source.
6. Example Statements
- Open data: “The dataset supporting this study is available in [repository] at [DOI/URL].”
- On request: “The data are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request, subject to ethical and confidentiality requirements.”
- Restricted: “The data are not publicly available because they contain confidential/proprietary information subject to [restriction].”
- No new data: “No new dataset was generated or analyzed for this study.”
Policy Commitment
JAMBD applies this policy consistently to protect editorial independence, research integrity, transparency, and the reliability of the scholarly record.
