Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy
Jurnal Akuntansi, Manajemen dan Bisnis Digital (JAMBD)
This policy describes JAMBD’s commitment to preserving published scholarly content and maintaining access to the permanent scholarly record.
1. Preservation Commitment
JAMBD is committed to the long-term availability and preservation of its scholarly content. Preservation is an ongoing journal-management responsibility and should not depend on a single website interface.
2. Primary Digital Record
The journal’s primary published record is maintained in Open Journal Systems (OJS), including article files, metadata, issue information, and persistent identifiers where assigned.
3. Backup and Recovery
The publisher should maintain regular technical backups of the journal platform and publication files. Backup copies should be stored separately from the primary production environment to support recovery from server failure, data corruption, security incidents, or other disruption.
4. Distributed Preservation
Where supported and technically enabled, JAMBD may use institutional repositories, preservation networks, library systems, national indexing services, or other trusted archives. An external archive should be named as active only after participation has been verified.
5. DOI and Metadata
JAMBD registers DOI and bibliographic metadata through Crossref where applicable. DOI registration supports persistent identification and discovery but does not by itself replace preservation of article files.
6. Author Self-Archiving
Authors may archive the published version in institutional or subject repositories and scholarly webpages provided that the original JAMBD publication and DOI are cited and license terms are respected.
7. Journal Discontinuation
If the journal ceases publication, the publisher will make reasonable efforts to preserve access to previously published content and maintain stable bibliographic metadata.
Implementation Requirement
Name only preservation mechanisms that JAMBD and its publisher actually maintain. Add external preservation networks only after active participation is confirmed.
Policy Commitment
JAMBD applies this policy consistently to protect editorial independence, research integrity, transparency, and the reliability of the scholarly record.
