Pendampingan Pelaporan Pajak Pribadi Melalui Kegiatan Edukasi Coretax Di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong
Abstract
Coretax is a technology-based taxation system designed to integrate all tax processes into a single digital platform, thereby enhancing efficiency, transparency, and data accuracy. However, the digitalization of taxation via the Core Tax Administration System (CTAS) was not accompanied by adequate outreach and training for taxpayers; consequently, many remain unable to use the system independently and continue to rely on third-party assistance for tax reporting. This article discusses an educational initiative providing guidance on personal tax reporting using the Coretax application at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. The activity was implemented through stages comprising preparation, outreach and education, technical training, guided assistance, and evaluation. The results indicate that direct, hands-on training and guided education are more effective in improving participants' understanding of how to use Coretax independently. Although challenges such as low tax literacy persist, the initiative has contributed to increasing taxpayer compliance by enabling independent tax reporting via the Coretax application, eliminating the need for external assistance.
