  1. Introduction

Jurnal Dehasen Untuk Negeri

already has ISSN: 2809-8684 (online); ISSN: 2809-8854 ( print) aims to increase the quantity and quality and disseminate studies of Community Service, as well as a medium of communication between scholars, practitioners, students and observers in the field of Community Service. the journal is published twice a year (January and July).

The editorial board of Jurnal Dehasen Untuk Negeri invites you to submit your manuscript for publication in this journal. An example of writing an article format is HERE.

 2. How to Write the Title, Name, and Address of the Author

The title of the manuscript should be written at the top of the first page. Meanwhile, the author's name (without academic degree), and the author's affiliation address, should be written with centre text alignment also below the title of the article. Authors should leave two spaces between the title and the author's name. Then, the distance between the author's affiliation address and the abstract title is one space below the line. Keywords should be written in the left column of the overall abstract for all words at least 3 words maximum 5 words. They should be arranged in alphabetical order and separated by semicolons in a maximum of three to five words.

The responsible author, correspondence author, or corresponding author should be written first and then followed by the second, third, and so on. Communication regarding article revisions and final statements will be informed by email to correspondence authors only. If there is more than one author, author names should be written separately with a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name should not be compensated. If the names of the authors are only one word, it should be written as such. However, in the online version it will be written in two words with the same name repeatedly for metadata indexing purposes.

3. General Guidelines for Manuscripts

The general guidelines for manuscripts are as follows:

The manuscript is the result of authentic research that has not been published in other publication media or publishers.

  1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian as the standard language. The manuscript must be written according to the article template. Articles are written on A4 size paper (210x297 mm), with special margins as follows: left 25 mm, right 20 mm, bottom 25 mm and top 25 mm, Arial theme font, 10pt font size, and 1 line-spacing.
  2. The manuscript is typed using Microsoft Word programme on A4 paper, approximately 5,000-6,000 words including figures, tables and references.
  3. The manuscript does not contain any elements of plagiarism. The editorial board will immediately reject any text that shows plagiarism. We use plagiarism software to check your manuscript.
  4. Manuscripts that have been written under the JANE (Journal of Public Administration) guidelines (in MS Word format, use this template article) must be submitted through the online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the Jurnal Dehasen Untuk Negeri (https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/dehasenuntuknegeri) choosing only one procedure. Then, register as one of the authors or reviewers in the "Register" section.
  5. Guidelines and templates for writing manuscript articles can be downloaded. The article writing template and guidelines are available in MS Word (.doc) format.

  7. Manuscripts that do not comply with the writing guidelines of Jurnal Dehasen Untuk Negeri will be returned to the author prior to the review process.
  8. The manuscript should contain several aspects of a scientific article as follows: (subtitles in order), namely: (a) title of the article, (b) author's name (without academic degree), (c) author's affiliated address, (d) author's email (e) abstract and keywords, (f) introduction, (g) research methods, (h) Discussion and Findings, (i) conclusion, (j) Literature List.
  9. Subtitles included in the discussion section (Introduction, Research Methods, Discussion and Findings, and Conclusion) should not be numbered. Subheadings are written in bold and title format, using centre text alignment without underlining. Subsequent expanded subheadings should be written in bold and sentence format, should use left text alignment and second-level numbering format.
  10. Words from foreign languages are expressed in Italic format. Each paragraph starts 10mm from the left side border while there is no space between paragraphs. All numbers are written in Arabic numbering format, except for new sentences.
  11. Tables and figures are placed in the text group after the referenced table or figure. Each figure should be given a caption and source (Figure Caption) below the figure and numbered in Arabic numbering format followed by the title of the figure. Each table should be given a table caption and numbered in Arabic numbering format above the table followed by the table title and source below the table. Appendix figures should be guaranteed that they can be printed properly in black and white ink (font size, resolution and clearly visible line space). Figures, tables and charts should be placed in the centre between text groups. If they have a larger size, they can be placed in the centre of the page. Tables should not contain vertical lines, while horizontal lines are only allowed for important points.

4. Guidelines for Manuscript Body Text

Title of the manuscript: The title should be informative and written briefly and clearly. It cannot be subject to multiple interpretations. It should be precise to the issue to be discussed. Initial words are capitalised and symmetrical. The title of the article should not contain any unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written first and followed later by its explanation. The title of the article should be written in twelve words, 14pt font size, with bold option and in centre text format.

Abstract: Type the English abstract here. Fill in the abstract using Arial 8 font. Abstract consists of: subject matter, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Abstract is written in the form of one paragraph, without references, without abbreviations/acronyms, and without footnotes. Abstracts are not written in the form of mathematics, questions, and conjectures. Abstract is not a copy and paste of the sentences in the content of the manuscript. The content of the English abstract is a maximum of 200 words.

Key word: minimum 3 words, maximum 5 words

Introduction: The content of the introduction is the fundamental or urgency of the problem behind the writing of the study/research, written in Arial 10 font. Originality or novelty reference literature maximum of the last 8 years.

Research Methods: The contents of the study method are data collection techniques, data sources, data analysis methods, correlation tests, etc., written in Arial 10 font. This chapter can also include scientific formulas used for data analysis/correlation tests.

Discussion and Findings: The main discussion contains Discussion and Findings, written in Arial 10 font. The results are not raw data, but data that have been processed/analysed with the established method. The discussion is a comparison of the results obtained with the concepts/theories in the literature review. The contents of the results and discussion include statements, tables, figures, diagrams, graphs, sketches, and so on.

Maximum 6 tables and figures accompanied by the name of the table and figure as well as the sources.

Conclusion

The conclusion is an overview of the research that has been done. The conclusion is not a summary of the results of the discussion that refers to a particular theory, but the results of the analysis/correlation test of the data discussed.

5. Guidelines for Citations and References

All data or quotations presented in the article that are taken from another author's article must attach a reference source. References must use reference application management such as Mendeley. The writing format used in the Dehasen Untuk Negeri Journal follows the format applied by APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association). Each manuscript has a minimum of 20 references, 60 per cent of which are primary references and taken in the last eight years.

6. Online Manuscript Guidelines

The manuscript must be submitted by one of two systems (the second procedure is preferred):

It should be submitted by the Online Submission System on the Dehasen Journal E-journal portal here.

    1. Firstly, the author should register either as an author or reviewer (check the role as author or reviewer) at "Register" or HERE.
    2. Once the registration step is complete, log in as an author, click on "New Submission". The article submission stage consists of five stages, such as: (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Additional Files, (5). Confirmation.
    3. In the "Start" column, select Journal Section (Full Article), check all checklists.
    4. In the "Upload Upload" column, upload the manuscript file in MS Word format in this column.
    5. In the "Enter Metadata" field, fill in all author and affiliation data. Including Journal Title, Abstract, and Indexing Keywords.
    6. In the "Upload Supplementary Files" column, authors are allowed to upload additional files, statement letters, or others.
    7. In the "Confirm" column, if the data you entered is correct, click "Finish Submission".
