JOURNAL POLICY • TRANSPARENCY & RESEARCH INTEGRITYJurnal Dehasen Untuk Negeri requires appropriate ethical oversight for research or scholarly activities involving humans, animals, identifiable personal information, sensitive data, or other ethically regulated activities.
Human Participants
Authors must follow applicable ethical standards and laws. Where formal ethics review is required, the manuscript should state the approving committee/institution and approval number. Informed consent should be obtained where required.
Privacy and Identifiability
Authors must protect participant confidentiality. Identifiable images, quotations, case details, health information, or personal data require appropriate consent or a lawful ethical basis for publication.
Vulnerable Populations
Additional safeguards must be used for children, patients, persons with impaired decision-making capacity, marginalised groups, and other vulnerable populations.
Because JDUN publishes community-service activities, authors should describe participant consent, permissions from community partners or institutions, and safeguards for photographs, personal health information, vulnerable groups, and identifiable individuals where applicable.
Editorial Action
The editor may request ethics documentation, consent forms, anonymisation, clarification, or institutional confirmation. Manuscripts may be rejected or published articles corrected/retracted when serious ethical non-compliance is identified.
