Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office. This study aimed to determine the effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office. This study aimed to determine the joint effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office. This study employed quantitative research using statistical calculation formulas and the SPSS program. The sample in this study was all 60 employees at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office. Therefore, the sampling method used was the census method, which involves collecting data from the entire population. The results showed that motivation significantly influences employee performance at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office. Work discipline significantly influences employee performance at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office. Motivation and work discipline significantly influence employee performance at the Lahat Regency Education and Culture Office.
