Jurnal Fokus Manajemen is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal. All published articles are freely available online without subscription or reader access fees.

The journal applies a transparent author-fee policy. There is no manuscript submission fee and no peer-review fee. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 per accepted article becomes payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received a formal acceptance decision.

Payment of the APC does not influence reviewer selection, reviewer reports, editorial decisions, manuscript acceptance or rejection, or publication priority.

Important Payment Rule
Authors must not make any payment before the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance and does not influence editorial or peer-review decisions. Jurnal Fokus Manajemen does not sell manuscript acceptance, favourable review recommendations, citations, authorship positions, publication priority, or guaranteed publication.
1. Open Access and Author Fees

All articles published in Jurnal Fokus Manajemen are freely available online under the journal's Open Access Policy. Readers may read, download, and access published articles without paying subscription or access fees.

To support sustainable scholarly publishing, Jurnal Fokus Manajemen applies an Article Processing Charge only to manuscripts that have received formal acceptance for publication.

Authors whose manuscripts are rejected during editorial screening or peer review are not required to pay any publication charge.

3. What the APC Supports

The Article Processing Charge contributes to legitimate scholarly publishing services and journal infrastructure, including:

Editorial and OJS administration
Similarity checking and quality control
Copyediting and proofreading
Final article layout and production
DOI registration and metadata management
Journal hosting and open-access publication
Metadata dissemination and indexing support
Website maintenance and digital preservation
4. When the APC Becomes Payable

The APC of IDR 500,000 becomes payable only after the manuscript has:

  1. completed the journal's initial editorial screening;
  2. successfully completed the peer-review process;
  3. completed revisions requested by editors and reviewers, where applicable;
  4. received a formal editorial acceptance decision; and
  5. received official payment information from the journal administration.
Authors should not transfer the APC before receiving formal acceptance.

6. Payment Confirmation

After completing the bank transfer, the corresponding author should submit proof of payment together with the article title and OJS submission ID to the journal administration.

7. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently based on manuscript quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, research integrity, and recommendations from qualified peer reviewers.

Payment of the Article Processing Charge does not influence reviewer selection, peer-review reports, editorial decisions, manuscript acceptance, rejection, or publication priority.
8. No Paid Fast-Track Review
Jurnal Fokus Manajemen does not offer a paid fast-track peer-review service. All manuscripts are processed according to the same editorial screening, peer-review standards, publication ethics, and editorial procedures. Payment of the APC does not provide accelerated scientific review, preferential treatment, guaranteed acceptance, or guaranteed publication.

Jurnal Fokus Manajemen maintains a strict separation between editorial decision-making and financial administration. The Article Processing Charge supports legitimate scholarly publishing services and does not purchase or influence academic decisions.
