Jurnal Fokus Manajemen publishes scholarly manuscripts that make a clear theoretical, empirical, methodological, or managerial contribution to the field of management and related disciplines. The journal welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and other academically appropriate research designs.

Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:

• The manuscript must be original and must not have been previously published in substantially the same form.
• The manuscript must not be simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
• All sources, quotations, datasets, figures, tables, theories, and ideas originating from other works must be appropriately acknowledged.
• The manuscript may be screened for similarity and other research-integrity concerns.
• Authors must use the latest JFM manuscript template.

Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English. Academic language should be clear, concise, professional, and grammatically appropriate.

• Author names must be written without academic degrees or professional titles.
• Affiliations must be written in full and include department/study program where relevant, faculty, institution, city, and country.
• Affiliation superscripts should be used only where authors have genuinely different affiliations.
• The corresponding author must be clearly marked with an asterisk (*).
• A valid corresponding-author institutional email should be provided.
• Authors should provide an ORCID iD where available.

The abstract should contain approximately 150–250 words and must be self-contained. Do not include citations, tables, figures, footnotes, or unexplained abbreviations.

The abstract should concisely state the research objective, method, principal findings, and main conclusion or contribution.

• Indonesian full-text manuscripts must provide both Indonesian and English abstracts.
• English full-text manuscripts may provide an English abstract only.
• Provide approximately 3–5 relevant keywords that accurately represent the manuscript.

The Introduction should develop a logical scholarly argument rather than presenting a simple list of previous studies.

1. Problem Context and Significance — explain the phenomenon and why the issue is important.
2. State of the Art — synthesize relevant and preferably recent primary research.
3. Research Gap — clearly identify what remains unresolved or insufficiently examined.
4. Novelty / Contribution — explicitly state the manuscript's new contribution.
5. Research Objective — end the section with clear objective(s), research question(s), and/or hypotheses where applicable.

This section is optional as a separate section. Use it when a manuscript requires dedicated theoretical development, conceptual framing, model development, or hypothesis formulation.

Where literature synthesis is already adequately integrated into the Introduction, this section may be omitted. Authors should avoid repeating the Introduction.

The research method must be sufficiently transparent to permit scholarly evaluation and, where appropriate, replication.

Authors should report, as applicable:

• research design and setting/context;
• population, sample, respondents, or data source;
• sampling technique and sample-selection criteria;
• variables/constructs and operational definitions;
• research instruments and evidence of validity/reliability where relevant;
• data-collection procedures;
• analytical techniques, model specifications, and software;
• robustness, diagnostic, or model-quality procedures where appropriate;
• for secondary-data studies, database/source and observation period; and
• ethical approval, informed consent, or justified exemption statement where applicable.

Results should present the principal findings clearly and efficiently. Tables and figures may be used where they improve understanding.

The Discussion must go beyond repeating numerical results. Authors should:

• interpret the meaning of the principal findings;
• relate the findings to the research objective and method;
• compare the results with relevant and recent previous research;
• explain agreements, differences, or contradictions with prior studies;
• connect results to relevant theory; and
• clearly state theoretical, managerial, practical, and/or policy contributions where appropriate.

The conclusion must directly answer the research objective and emphasize the principal new or important finding supported by the study.

Authors should state theoretical and/or managerial or policy implications where relevant. Limitations and focused directions for future research may also be included.

• Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially using Arabic numerals.
• Each table and figure must be cited and discussed in the manuscript text.
• Titles must clearly identify the content of the table or figure.
• Sources or authors' analysis should be stated where appropriate.
• Figures must be legible and of sufficient resolution for publication.
• Do not duplicate exactly the same information in text, table, and figure form.

The Acknowledgments section is optional. Authors may acknowledge institutions, technical assistance, research participants, or persons who contributed to the work but do not meet the criteria for authorship.

References must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition consistently.

• Include at least 15 relevant references.
• Prioritize peer-reviewed primary research sources.
• As a journal quality target, authors are encouraged to use more than 80% primary research sources.
• As a quality target, authors should aim for more than 80% references published within the last 10 years, except relevant seminal/classic literature.
• Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and every reference listed must be cited in the manuscript.
• Include DOI links in the format https://doi.org/... whenever available.
• Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference-management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Authors receiving a revision decision must respond carefully to the editor and reviewer comments and submit the revised manuscript through OJS within the deadline stated in the editorial decision.

Authors should provide a clear point-by-point response explaining how each comment has been addressed or providing an academic justification where a suggested revision has not been adopted.

Authors must comply with JFM policies concerning publication ethics, authorship, plagiarism, conflicts of interest, research misconduct, artificial intelligence, ethical oversight, research data, corrections, retractions, and other relevant integrity requirements.
