Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing parents' acceptance of the CAZH CARDS fintech application used for educational payment systems in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia. Specifically, the study investigates the effects of relative advantage, perceived ease of use, perceived benefits, perceived risk, and suitability of need on parents' adoption decisions. A quantitative research design was employed using purposive sampling, involving 100 parents from elementary and junior high schools partnering with PT CAZH. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using binary logistic regression and univariate logistic regression. The findings indicate that relative advantage, perceived ease of use, perceived benefits, and suitability of need were not significant predictors of parents' acceptance of the application. In contrast, perceived risk emerged as the only significant determinant, suggesting that concerns regarding transaction security and reliability outweigh positive evaluations of innovation characteristics. These findings extend technology adoption literature by demonstrating that risk perception plays a dominant role in educational fintech adoption and highlight the importance of strengthening trust, security, and transparency to increase parents' acceptance of digital payment systems
