This study employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing a purposive sampling technique. The data utilized in this study is primary data, which was collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The study has a sample size of 210 respondents. The data was evaluated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with the use of AMOS 24 Graphics software. The findings of this study indicate that attitude is significantly influenced by perceived utility, perceived trust, and subjective norm. Furthermore, attitude significantly impacts the intention to adopt. The study's recent discoveries indicate that perceived danger exerts a detrimental and noteworthy impact on attitude, while perceived ease of use exerts a detrimental but inconsequential impact on attitude. The findings of this study emphasize the significance of comprehending customer risk perceptions in relation to service utilization. Companies should take into account the factors that impact consumer opinions. This can be accomplished by implementing effective marketing techniques, enhancing customer service, or providing an optimal user experience. This study provides an update on the variables by including the perceived risk variable to assess the perceived risk experienced by consumers.
Alifia Indah Putri Shaliha, Endy Gunanto Marsasi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5427 Wed, 20 Mar 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Influence of Islamic Work Ethic, Productivity, and Employee Performance: Mediating Work Quality at KSPPS BMT https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5191
Islamic work ethic and productivity in the Islamic world play a crucial role in shaping individual character in the context of the world of work. S https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5381
This research discusses the proposal for implementing Activity-Based Costing (ABC) in the cardboard box manufacturing company, PT. S, focusing on Plant 4 located in West Java. The products produced include standard A1 cardboard boxes, A1 printing, plain die-cut boxes, printed die-cut boxes, and top-bottom boxes. The application of the ABC approach is carried out with the intention of presenting more detailed cost information through the identification and allocation of costs to the various activities involved in the production process. The traditional method appears to be inappropriate as overhead allocation only burdens direct raw material costs, direct labor costs, shipping costs, and sales commission to products using percentages from historical data as a reference for the selling price of the product. The research type is problem-solving with a descriptive qualitative research method. The results indicate that the ABC method provides more accurate calculations by allocating costs per activity that are then assigned to products. Among the five studied products, it is found that the plain A1 product is the least profitable. On average, the allocation of product costs experiences undercosting, except for plain die-cut products that experience overcosting. PT. S needs to consider the use of the ABC method in product cost and product selling prices to be able to reduce costs and increase the profitability
Indy Larasati, Nureni Wijayati ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5381 Sat, 06 Apr 2024 07:57:03 +0000 Do Tax Rates Encourage Profit Shifts By Multinational Companies In Indonesia https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5415
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies have experienced a decline in financial performance which has the potential to cause financial difficulties. While the government has provided stimulus to help, there are concerns about increasing tax avoidance efforts and profit-shifting practices with businesses transitioning to digital models. However, there is a view that companies may prefer ethical behavior to safeguard their reputation in the midst of a crisis. This study analyses profit-shifting behaviour by multinational companies in Indonesia before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing primarily on the effect of differences in Indonesia's income tax rates on average rates in countries where the group of companies operates. Descriptive analysis is used in this study to provide an overview and general information about the data obtained in the field which is a research variable and will be used as analysis material to answer research questions. The research sample involved 163 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and met certain criteria, such as the calculation of corporate income tax according to the Income Tax Law and the exclusion of certain sectors. Data was analyzed for the period 2017-2022, covering the period before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as changes in tax rates in Indonesia. The results show that the difference in Indonesia's corporate income tax rate with the average tax rate in the country where multinational companies operate has a negative and significant effect on profit before tax.
Eko Setiawan, Vera Diyanty ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5415 Sun, 07 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Predicting Future Cash Flows Using Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5450
This study aims to provide empirical evidence of the ability of operating cash flows to predict future cash flows, ability of net income to predict future cash flows and proves that net income is better at predicting future cash flows compared to operating cash flows. Young unemployment refers to individuals within the labor force, actively seeking employment, aged between 15 and 24 years, and not attending school. The study utilizes raw data from the Indonesian National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) for the periods of August 2019 and 2020. To achieve these objectives, a binary logistic regression analysis with interaction effects is employed. The research findings indicate that young individuals within the labor force who are characterized as female, unmarried, have attained a minimum level of high school education, have not participated in any training, and possess work experience are more likely to experience unemployment before and during the covid-19 pandemic. Moreover, the occurrence of the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 has indeed had a significant impact on youth unemployment in Indonesia. The changes in the characteristics of youth unemployment during the pandemic are observed among young individuals within the labor force who are unmarried, have work experience, and reside in rural areas.
Cindy Aprilia, Yulia Anas ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5521 Sun, 07 Apr 2024 05:02:48 +0000 The Sandwich Generation and Cryptocurrencies: Trust, Product Knowledge and Reference Group as Triggers of Investment Intention https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5153
The rise and evolution of Cryptocurrency has been continuous since the launch of Bitcoin in 2009. A comprehensive quantitative analysis was conducted on data collected from 250 faculty members in varied academic environments from Java, Bali, and Sulawesi. The study reveals that both work motivation and religiosity have a significant impact on faculty performance. The meaning of life emerged as a partial mediator in this relationship. This indicates that the enhancement of faculty performance is also heavily contingent on how faculty members derive a sense of purpose and fulfillment from their professional roles and religious beliefs. This aspect is further mediated by the individual's ability to construct a meaningful life from their daily activities. These findings provide fresh insights into the complex interplay between personal values and professional outcomes, highlighting the necessity of fostering work environments that support the realization of meaningful experiences for each faculty member. The study significantly contributes to the existing literature by demonstrating the vital importance of meaningful life in understanding and improving faculty performance.
Olfien Wilsyie Riruma, Lidia Sandra ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5436 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 15:27:39 +0000 The Influence of Net Profit Margin, Return on Asset, Current Ratio, Price Earning Ratio, Solvency Ratio on Market Price https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5475
This study aims to analyze the influence of Profit Margin, Return on Assets, Current Ratio, Solvency Ratio on Market Price. Institutional ownership has a negative influence in the non-pandemic period and that influence has not changed during the pandemic period. Meanwhile, the gender diversity of the board of commissioners does not affect financial distress in either the pandemic period or the non-pandemic period. This report provides insights for company management and regulators in developing CG mechanisms, especially related to the board of commissioners' gender diversity, family ownership, and institutional ownership.
Alief Ibnu Nuzul, Vera Diyanty ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5424 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Proposed Marketing Strategy to Improve Customer Loyalty of Brand XYZ https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5442
This research aims to provide strategies to increase customer loyalty from brand XYZ. This research is a qualitative study using a case study-based evaluation process. Primary data used is obtained from semi-structured interviews with respondents in the ICT and E-Governement Sectors. Analysis of program and activity performance data will use a logic model approach. The results showed that performance information already has a logical relationship, but its implementation cannot support the achievement of Diskominfo's KPI performance. Furthermore, there are still inconsistencies between the performance indicators that have been determined and those listed in the performance appraisal document. The recommended outcome sequence chart has been prepared in accordance with indicators related to the ICT aspect of SPBE. Diskominfo needs to reformulate information and performance indicators to be in line with the strategic planning that has been set. This research is expected to contribute to improving the performance of existing programs and activities in the Regional Government.
Selvy Elida Haloho, Nanda Ayu Wijayanti ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5361 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Financial Behavior Mediation Effect On The Influence Of Risk Tolerance And Financial Efficacy On Investment Decisions Of Gen Z In Pontianak City https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5444
This study focuses on obtaining an explanation of the influence between the variables of risk tolerance and financial efficacy on the variable of investment decisions using the mediating role of financial behavior. However, financial distress can worsen if not promptly addressed, leading to bankruptcy. Early identification of potential financial distress in a company is crucial for stakeholders such as investors, creditors, and regulators. In practice, predicting financial distress in a company is not an easy task. One of the methods commonly used to identify early symptoms of financial distress is the method introduced by Altman in 1986. Altman's research model, known as the Z-Score, determines a value based on standard calculations of financial ratios to indicate the likelihood of a company experiencing bankruptcy. The use of artificial intelligence, such as deep learning, can enhance the scope of research on the analysis and prediction of financial distress. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of machine learning models, such as the K-Nearest Neighbor Classifier and Random Forest Classifier, and deep learning models, such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN). This analysis is carried out to evaluate the success rate of the proposed deep learning models in predicting financial distress in companies operating in Indonesia. Based on the conducted research, the K-Nearest Neighbor Classifier algorithm achieved an accuracy of 77.42% during testing and 88.89% during validation, the Random Forest Classifier algorithm achieved an accuracy of 87.09% during testing and 95.24% during validation, the CNN model achieved an accuracy of 95.16% during testing and 96.83% during validation, and the RNN model achieved an accuracy of 93.55% during testing and 96.83% during validation. Based on these results, the deep learning method has a higher average success rate than machine learning models in predicting financial distress.
Fadly Muhammad Irvan ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5478 Tue, 30 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis The Impact Of Religiosity On The Intention To Pirate Digital Products In Indonesia https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/er/article/view/5761
This study aims to test and analyze the impact of religiosity on the intention to commit digital product piracy by integrating religiosity, ethics, and the theory of planned behavior theories.
