Advertising and Direct Marketing

TRANSPARENCY • RESPONSIBLE COMMUNICATION • INDEPENDENCE
Advertising and Direct Marketing Policy
EKOMBIS REVIEW: Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi dan Bisnis
EKOMBIS REVIEW maintains a clear separation between editorial decision-making and advertising, sponsorship, marketing, promotional activities, or other commercial interests.
1. Editorial Independence

Advertising, sponsorship, marketing relationships, financial contributions, or promotional arrangements must not influence manuscript screening, reviewer selection, peer-review reports, editorial decisions, publication priority, or post-publication actions.

2. Identification of Advertising

If advertising or sponsored promotional material is displayed, it must be clearly distinguishable from peer-reviewed scholarly content and should not imply academic endorsement by the journal, editors, reviewers, publisher, or authors.

3. Direct Marketing

Messages used to promote the journal, solicit manuscripts, announce calls for papers, or communicate journal services must be accurate, professional, transparent, and not misleading.

Marketing communications must not promise guaranteed acceptance, guaranteed publication, favourable peer review, guaranteed citation, purchased authorship, or preferential scientific treatment.
4. Accreditation and Indexing Claims

Any public statement concerning accreditation, indexing, abstracting, publication frequency, fees, peer-review model, or journal status must reflect the journal's current and verifiable official status. Expired, pending, or unverified recognition must not be represented as active recognition.

5. Personal Information

Personal information obtained through manuscript submission, peer review, editorial correspondence, or journal administration must not be improperly reused for unrelated commercial marketing or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

6. Conflicts of Interest

Any financial or organizational relationship associated with advertising, sponsorship, or promotional activity that could reasonably create a conflict of interest should be transparently managed and must remain separate from academic evaluation.

Core Principle: editorial integrity and scholarly quality always take precedence over commercial, promotional, or financial interests.
