Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of tax risk and profitability on firm value, with independent commissioners and the audit committee serving as moderating variables. A descriptive quantitative research design was employed using secondary data from the annual reports of companies in the Investment Company subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. The study population consisted of 11 companies, with 10 selected as the research sample. Panel data regression analysis was conducted using E-Views 13 software. The results show that Tax Risk has a positive effect on Firm Value, while Profitability has no significant effect on firm value in both models. Likewise, the moderating effects of both Independent Commissioners and the Audit Committee have no significant influence on firm value.
