The Role Of Financial Management In Increasing The Profitability Of Msmes In Kelambir Lima Village, Kebon
Abstract
Financial management plays a crucial role in maintaining the sustainability and increasing the profitability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the role of financial management in increasing the profitability of MSMEs in Kelambir Lima Village, Kebon. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation of five MSMEs in the culinary and trade sectors. The results indicate that most MSMEs have not yet implemented optimal financial management, particularly in transaction recording, working capital management, and profit planning. Implementing sound financial management, such as simple financial record keeping, cost control, and separation of personal and business finances, has been shown to increase profitability. This study recommends the importance of basic financial management training for MSMEs to enable them to manage their financial resources efficiently and sustainably.
