The Influence Of Financial Management On The Succes Of Micro, Small, And Medium Enterprises (UMKM) In Pagar Merbau I Village
Abstract
This study discusses the influence of financial management on the success of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pagar Merbau I Village. Financial management is very important for the sustainability of a business, one of which is so that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) know the income and expenses spent and can reduce unnecessary expenses in order to make finances more effective. In this study there are 3 indicators in financial management, namely financial planning, implementation (budgeting, and financial control/supervision. There are 2 indicators in the success of MSMEs, namely business improvement and business expansion. This study aims to determine the effect of financial management on the success of MSMEs in Pagar Merbau I Village. This study uses quantitative research with the type of Ex Post Facto research. The location of this study is in Pagar Merbau I Village, Pagar Merbau District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The population and sample in this study were 59 MSMEs in Pagar Merbau I Village. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of financial management on the success of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pagar Merbau I Village
