The Effect Of Compensation On Employee Productivity With Work Environment As A Mediating Variable At CV. Dua Putra
Abstract
Purpose:To analyze the influence of compensation on employee productivity with work environment as a mediating variable at CV. Dua Putra.Research Methodology:This study adopts a quantitative approach using questionnaires and interviews as instruments. The population consists of 107 employees of CV. Dua Putra, with a sample of 85 respondents determined using simple random sampling and the Slovin formula. The variables examined include compensation (independent), work environment (mediating), and employee productivity (dependent). Data analysis utilizes a Likert scale, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), and mediated regression analysis. Results:Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. The work environment fully mediates the relationship between compensation and employee productivity, meaning the effect of compensation on productivity is channeled through the work environment.Limitations:This study focuses on a single location, uses questionnaires with potential for bias, and has a limited scope of variables.Contribution:Provides theoretical and practical contributions for companies in designing more effective human resource management strategies, particularly in improving employee productivity.
