Analysis Of Employee Recruitment And Selection Strategies In Improving The Effectiveness Of Human Resource Management PT. Widya Kreasi Bangsa
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection strategies implemented by PT. Widya Kreasi Bangsa in improving the quality and engagement of interns in a digital workplace. The research method used was a qualitative approach with narrative analysis based on data from in-depth interviews with several relevant parties in the Human Capital division and documentation of the recruitment and onboarding processes conducted during the internship period. The results indicate that a competency-based recruitment strategy combined with a structured onboarding process can improve interns' understanding of the company's work culture and accelerate the adaptation process to a digital workplace. Furthermore, this approach also resulted in increased intern productivity in carrying out daily tasks, particularly in divisions related to product development, education, and technology. However, the study also identified several challenges, such as uneven understanding of assigned roles and responsibilities among interns and limitations in real-time performance monitoring. The findings of this study provide recommendations for the company to develop a data-driven evaluation system and strengthen initial training programs to improve the effectiveness of HR management, particularly for interns and new employees.
