The Influence Of Fundamental Analysis On Banking Sector Stock Prices In The LQ45 Index For The Period 2020–2023
Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price to Book Value (PBV), and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) on the stock prices of the banking sector listed in the LQ45 Index during the period 2020–2023. The population in this research consists of banking companies included in the LQ45 Index for the 2020–2023 period on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used are secondary data. The sampling technique employed in this study is purposive sampling, which involves selecting samples based on criteria determined by the researcher, resulting in a total sample of 5 companies. The data analysis methods used include descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The findings of this research indicate that partially, Earnings Per Share (EPS) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, Price to Book Value (PBV) has no significant effect on stock prices, and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, simultaneously, Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price to Book Value (PBV), and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) have a positive and significant effect on stock prices.
