Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced public sector organizations in improving economic growth, national stability, and community welfare. Information is data that has been processed into a more useful and meaningful form for its users. Through the availability of information, systems are expected to provide benefits and support decision-making processes for users. A system itself is a collection of interconnected elements that interact to achieve specific objectives.

This study employed a quantitative research approach because it sought to objectively measure the influence of information systems on public services through the collection and analysis of numerical data, which were subsequently analyzed using statistical methods.

The results of the study indicate that information systems have a positive effect on public services at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office of Tebing Tinggi City. This finding suggests that the better the implementation of information systems, the higher the quality of public services provided to the community.
