The Effect of E-Performance and Motivation on Employee Performance at the Gorontalo Provincial Agriculture Office
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of E-Performance and Motivation on Employee Performance at the Gorontalo Provincial Agriculture Office. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 135 civil servant respondents. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 22. Data testing techniques included a multicollinearity test, a t-test (partial), an F-test (simultaneous), and a coefficient of determination (R²) test. The results indicate that, partially, E-Performance has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a calculated t-value of 8.981 and a significance level of 0.000. Motivation also has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, with a calculated t-value of 7.800 and a significance level of 0.000. Simultaneously, E-Performance and Motivation have a significant effect on Employee Performance, as evidenced by a calculated F-value of 66.506 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.502 indicates that 50.2% of the variation in Employee Performance can be explained by E-Performance and Motivation, while the remainder is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that E-Performance and Motivation are important factors that must be considered in efforts to improve employee performance. Therefore, the Gorontalo Provincial Agriculture Office is advised to optimize the implementation of the E-Performance system and enhance employee motivation to support optimal performance improvement.
