Pelatihan Literasi Keuangan dan Kompetensi SDM Digital bagi Siswa SMA sebagai Penggerak Desa Wisata Global

Abstract

Digital transformation and the development of community-based tourism have increased the need for young people to possess adequate financial literacy and digital competencies. However, the initial assessment conducted at SMAN 1 Argamakmur, Bengkulu, revealed that most students lacked sufficient skills in personal financial management and the productive use of digital technology. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ financial literacy and digital human resource competencies as prospective drivers of global tourism village development. The program was implemented through several stages, including needs assessment, program planning, training, practical activities and mentoring, as well as evaluation and reflection. The training materials covered basic financial literacy concepts, personal financial management, simple budgeting, saving and early investment, safe use of digital financial services, and digital competencies, including digital economy, digital citizenship, personal branding, digital marketing, content creation, and the utilization of social media for local economic development. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the average score increasing from 58.25 in the pre-test to 84.75 in the post-test, representing a 45.49% improvement and an N-Gain score of 0.63, categorized as effective. Furthermore, participants successfully developed digital promotional content highlighting local tourism potential. The program effectively improved students’ capacity in financial management and the productive use of digital technology to support community-based tourism village development.
