Nursing Care For Pregnant Women In The First Trimester With The Administration Of Warm Ginger Tea To Reduce Emesis Gravidarum In The Telaga Dewa Community Health Center Area Of Bengkulu City In 2024
Abstract
Data from the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center shows that the number of pregnant women was 799. In 2021, the number of pregnant women increased to 724, and in 2022, the number of pregnant women increased to 732. The purpose of this case report is to gain direct knowledge and understanding of the use of warm ginger water infusion to reduce emesis gravidarum in the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center area of Bengkulu City in 2024. This case report was written using a descriptive observational method with a case study design, with the primary goal of objectively describing or describing the situation. The assessment revealed several data on the two patients. Patient 1, Mrs. E G2P1A0 TM 1, aged 27, and patient 2, Mrs. D G2P1A0 TM 1, 29 years old, was diagnosed with Emesis Gravidarum. Both patients experienced nausea and vomiting. Patient 1 experienced nausea and vomiting 7 times, and Patient 2 experienced nausea and vomiting 6 times. This study was conducted 6 times in 3 days, alternating. In collecting data, the author used an interview method with the family and observation with a physical examination. The diagnosis in this case was Hypovolemia related to fluid loss due to vomiting. The results of this study are expected to increase the knowledge of all institutions at the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center, students, readers, and patient families regarding the administration of warm ginger water to reduce emesis gravidarum in the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center area of Bengkulu City in 2024. Pregnant women experiencing Emesis Gravidarum are expected to understand how to brew warm ginger water for optimal fetal growth and development.
