Instagram My Kelambi_Id Sebagai Media Promosi Thrif Shop
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the utilization of the Instagram account @mykelambi_id as a promotional medium for introducing thrift fashion to thrifting enthusiasts in Bengkulu City. As a visually driven platform, Instagram is considered highly effective in reaching wide audiences through features such as photo and video uploads, reels, instastories, and live broadcasts. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the owner and administrator of @mykelambi_id. The findings indicate that @mykelambi_id optimizes digital promotional elements based on online promotion indicators, including advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, and personal selling. The use of Instagram features enables the presentation of engaging, interactive, and easily accessible information, thereby increasing consumer purchase interest. The study concludes that Instagram serves as an effective and relevant promotional medium for thrift shops, enhancing product visibility and attracting consumers to preloved fashion items.
