Implementasi Peraturan Bupati Sekadau Nomor 91 Tahun 2023 Tentang Fungsi Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Di Desa Semabi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of Sekadau Regent Regulation Number 91 of 2023 concerning the Functions of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) in the execution of development in Semabi Village, Sekadau Hilir District, Sekadau Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with data collection methods through in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Research subjects include the Semabi Village LPM, community leaders, and the village government, who provide a comprehensive perspective on the role of the LPM in facilitating community participation and its impact on village development. The results of the study indicate that the LPM plays a vital role in encouraging community involvement in every stage of the development process, from planning to evaluation. Active community involvement contributes to program success and enhances a sense of ownership over development initiatives. However, the research also identifies several challenges faced by the LPM, including limited resources, the need to improve members' capacity, and socio-economic conditions of the community that influence participation. Recommendations from this research include the necessity of capacity building through training and education for LPM members, the development of programs that are more responsive to community needs, and the strengthening of partnerships with the government and other stakeholders, so that the LPM can contribute significantly to sustainable development and the improvement of community welfare in Semabi Village, as well as contribute to the development of community empowerment policies in rural areas.
