Abstract

This research, conducted by Agung Gunawan Salina (Student ID 223110031) and supervised by Asmiddin and Rasmuin, investigates the influence of wage systems and labor absorption on company performance in Buton Regency. The study aimed to achieve three specific objectives: 1) Simultaneously (simultaneously) examine the combined effect of wage systems and labor absorption on company performance in Buton Regency, 2) Partially examine the individual effect of the wage system on company performance in Buton Regency, 3) Partially examine the individual effect of labor absorption on company performance in Buton Regency. The research yielded the following significant results: 1) Wage systems and labor absorption simultaneously have a significant influence on company performance in Buton Regency. This suggests that when considered together, these two factors play a crucial role in determining how well companies performa, 2) The wage system has a positive and significant influence on company performance. This implies that a well-structured and effective wage system can lead to better company performance, 3) Labor absorption has a negative and significant influence on company performance. This is a particularly interesting finding, indicating that an increase in labor absorption, in this specific context, might actually lead to a decrease in company performance.
