MULTIDISCIPLINARY & INTERDISCIPLINARY SCHOLARLY JOURNAL

Journal Focus

Jurnal Multidisiplin Dehasen (MUDE) is a multidisciplinary scholarly journal that provides a platform for the dissemination of original research, scientific analysis, and interdisciplinary studies across a broad range of academic disciplines. The journal is intended to facilitate the exchange of knowledge among researchers, academics, professionals, and practitioners from different fields.

MUDE particularly welcomes manuscripts that demonstrate a clearly formulated research problem, appropriate methodology, reliable evidence, critical analysis, and a meaningful contribution to the development of knowledge or professional practice. Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies that integrate concepts, methods, or perspectives from two or more disciplines are especially encouraged when the relationship among the disciplines is clearly demonstrated.

Aims

Jurnal Multidisiplin Dehasen (MUDE) aims to:

  • disseminate original, credible, and academically responsible scholarly works;
  • facilitate communication and knowledge exchange across disciplinary boundaries;
  • encourage multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary academic, professional, technological, social, and societal issues;
  • strengthen evidence-based academic and professional practices through the publication of methodologically sound studies; and

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies

In addition to discipline-specific research, MUDE welcomes multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies that combine theories, methods, technologies, or perspectives from different academic fields. Such manuscripts should clearly explain how the integration of disciplines contributes to addressing the research problem and creates scholarly or practical value beyond a single disciplinary perspective.

Examples may include studies connecting information technology with business, education with digital technology, health with social science, engineering with environmental sustainability, economics with public policy, sports science with health, or other academically justified combinations.

Scope Requirement

Manuscripts submitted to MUDE must clearly correspond to at least one of the journal's stated disciplinary fields. Authors are expected to demonstrate a clear research question or problem, appropriate research methods, adequate analysis, relevant scholarly references, and a contribution to knowledge, professional practice, policy, technology, or society.

Scholarly Quality Expectations

Manuscripts should go beyond the simple presentation of facts or descriptive information. Research articles are expected to contain an identifiable scholarly contribution supported by appropriate theoretical foundations, methods, evidence, analysis, and discussion.

The discussion should explain the significance of the findings in relation to previous studies and identify relevant theoretical, practical, technological, managerial, educational, health, social, or policy implications according to the field of study.

Out-of-Scope Submissions

Manuscripts may be declined at the initial editorial screening stage when:

  • the subject matter does not correspond to the stated focus and scope of MUDE;
  • the manuscript does not present a clear research problem or scholarly contribution;
  • the work is primarily descriptive and lacks adequate analytical or scientific treatment;
  • the research methodology or supporting evidence is inadequate for the conclusions presented;
  • the manuscript does not comply with applicable research ethics or publication ethics requirements; or
  • the submission substantially fails to comply with the journal's Author Guidelines and manuscript preparation requirements.
Editorial Principle

Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's relevance to the journal's scope, originality, methodological quality, scholarly contribution, research integrity, peer-review evaluation, and compliance with editorial standards. The author's institutional affiliation, nationality, personal relationship, or payment status does not determine manuscript acceptance.
