Design And Implementation Of A Digital Advertising Pipeline Based On 3d Modeling (Blender) And Video Editing (Capcut) For A Facial Wash Product Campaign
Abstract
Rapid advancements in digital technology have driven a shift in marketing strategies from conventional approaches to visually creative digital marketing. The facial care industry—specifically the facial wash sector—faces intense competition, necessitating creative promotion via popular social media platforms like TikTok. However, the advertising content production process is often hindered by a lack of seamless integration between 3D animation creation and video editing, resulting in inconsistent final outputs and wasted time. This study aims to design and implement a digital advertising production pipeline that integrates Blender-based 3D animation with CapCut video editing, while also evaluating the product's feasibility based on target audience feedback. A descriptive qualitative research method was employed, utilizing the Multimedia Development Life Cycle framework, which comprises six systematic stages. Feasibility data was gathered via questionnaires administered to twenty-six university students (aged 21–24) who use skincare products, selected through purposive sampling. The results demonstrate that the designed pipeline successfully produced a high-quality, 27-second 3D animated advertisement video consisting of seven scenes. Feasibility assessments yielded an average score of 83.8%, categorizing the video as highly feasible. Visual elements specifically color, lighting, and text readability received the highest score (86.9%), while water particle visual effects received the lowest (73.8%). Objective measurement of the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) showed an average of 13.49 dB, a result attributed to automatic compression during export; meanwhile, publishing the video on TikTok generated 170 initial views over a three-day period. The study concludes that integrating Blender and CapCut within the Multimedia Development Life Cycle framework effectively optimizes the efficiency of digital advertisement production..
