Abstract

Intoduction: The report of Luas Health Center in Kaur Regency shows that the UCI (Universal Child Immunization) achievement rate is 27.8%. This figure is still very low and has not met the 2023 Renstra target of 100%. Basic immunization coverage is influenced by various factors such as predisposing, supporting and reinforcing factors. This study aims to determine the factors related to the low basic immunization coverage at the Luas Health Center in Kaur Regency.  Method: This study uses a quantitative research type with a descriptive analytical research method using a Cross Sectional design, a sampling technique using a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 71 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire and an observation sheet. The research analysis uses univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test.  Result and Discussion: Univariate analysis results showed that most respondents had incomplete basic immunization coverage (52.1%), lacked knowledge (38%), some had insufficient family support (50.7%), and most respondents had poor cadre roles (53.5%) at the Luas Community Health Center in Kaur Regency. The results showed a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.000), family support (p-value = 0.000), and the role of cadres (p-value = 0.007) and basic immunization coverage at the Luas Community Health Center in Kaur Regency. Conclusion: There is a need for increased health promotion related to immunization and family support for mothers with toddlers by health workers, as well as an increased role for health cadres.
