A Correlation Between The Quality Of Health Services And Patients' Family Satisfaction In Al Wildan Ward Of Rs Ar Bunda Prabumulih In 2025
Abstract
Hospital service activities are also closely linked to service quality, facilities, and patient satisfaction. Patient’s family satisfaction is related to the quality of hospital services. By understanding the level of patient’s family satisfaction, hospital management can improve service quality (Maulana,2020). The service quality indicator uses SERQUAL, which measures the quality of a hospital's services based on predetermined indicators: Assurance, Reliability, Tangibles, Empathy, and Responsiveness. This study uses a correlational analytical design using a cross-sectional study method to determine the correlation between the independent and dependent variables. The results of the chi-square statistical test showed a correlation between the quality of healthcare services and the satisfaction of Al Wildan patient families at AR Bunda Prabumulih Hospital in 2025, with a p-value of 0.000 (p0.005). It is recommended that the hospital improve and maintain the quality of services, especially in the Al Wildan ward at AR Bunda Prabumulih Hospital, and increase the level of patient family satisfaction, most importantly.
