The Impact Of Social Stigma On The Behavior Of The Use Of Health Services For Pregnant Women In High Health Centers Hari Kec.Gumay Ulu Kabab Regency Lahat
Abstract
The health of pregnant women is an important indicator in assessing the welfare and health development of a country. The impact of this social stigma is evident in the behavior of pregnant women who are reluctant to conduct regular pregnancy examinations. To overcome this obstacle the role of health workers is very helpful, especially in social stigma. Health workers not only are tasked with providing medical care, but also supporting pregnant women emotionally. The purpose of this study was known to the impact of social stigma on the behavior of the use of health services for pregnant women at the Puskesmas Hari Hari Kec. Gumay Ulu Kabab Regency Lahat. The type of research is analytic with a cross sectional research design that is a study to study the dynamics of the correlation between risk factors with effects, by means of approach, observation or data collection as well as at one time. The population in this study were pregnant women who visited the Hari Hari Puskesmas Gumay Ulu District Lahat Regency from January to April 2025 as many as 65 people. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling. So the number of samples in this study was 65 people in one month. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between the impact of social stigma on the behavior of the use of health services for pregnant women at the Puskesmas Hari Hari Kec. Gumay Ulu Kababab Regency. Suggestions This study can be useful for other researchers as a source of references that enrich scientific literature in the field of public health, especially those related to the social stigma and health behavior of pregnant women.
