PERAWATAN SAAT KEHAMILAN PADA IBU DENGAN BALITA STUNTING DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PENURUNAN DAN JALAN GEDANG KOTA BENGKULU
Abstract
Secara global, satu dari empat anak (25%) berusia di bawah lima tahun mengalami keterlambatan perkembangan dan pertumbuhan (stunting). Dari anak-anak stunting ini, 90% tinggal di Sub-Sahara Afrika dan Asia (Tingkat dan Tren Malnutrisi Anak, WHO, UNICEF, Bank Dunia 2012). Stunting di negara-negara berkembang sering dimulai pada saat perkembangan janin di dalam rahim ibu dan tingkat keparahannya meningkat hingga mencapai usia dua tahun, yang dikenal dengan “1000 hari pertama kelahiran”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran secara menyeluruh mengenai pengalaman dan perawatan ibu saat proses kehamilan balita stunting di Kota Bengkulu. Menggunakan rancangan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi pada 4 orang partisipan yang diambil secara purposive sampling di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Penuruna dan jalan Gedang. Tehnik analisis data menurut Colaizzi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Ada tiga tema utama yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini , 1) Persepsi Ibu yang memiliki balita stunting di wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Penurunan dan jalan Gedang tentang kehamilan dan Stunting, 2) bentuk perawatan saat kehamilan, 3) Perilaku Pencarian Dukungan Kesehatan (Health Seeking Behaviour), 4) peran keluarga saat kehamilan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam tentang upaya perawatan yang diterima ibu selama kehamilan dan merekomendasikan peningkatan layanan antenatal untuk mencegah stunting pada bayi.
