Abstract

Immunization is a precautionary act to give immunity to certain diseases through vaccines. Immunization is a public health effort that is proven to be the most effective and has a positive impact to realize the degree of health of the mother and child in Indonesia. According to WHO (2024), around 84% of babies worldwide or around 108 million babies have received three doses of diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus (DPT) vaccines in 2023. From the data obtained at the Musi Rawas District Health Office, the scope of measles immunization in 2024 was 87%. Muara Lakitan Health Center has the lowest scope of measles immunization in 2024 which is 28.6%. Research Objectives The relationship between the factors that affect the low scope of measles immunization in infants in the working area of ​​Muara Lakitan Health Center in Musi Rawas Regency in 2025 Types of Research is analytic with a cross sectional research design that is a study to study the dynamics of correlation between risk factors with effects, by approach, observation or data collection as well as one time. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies aged 9 to 12 months in the working area of ​​Muara Lakitan Health Center, Musi Rawas Regency, from January to April 2025, as many as 134 people. The number of samples to be examined was 57 people. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge, attitudes and education by giving measles immunization to infants in the working area of ​​Muara Lakitan Puskesmas Musi Rawas Regency in 2025. Suggestions This study is expected to be additional information for readers about child health, especially immunization, so that it can be used as a reference for further research.
