The Relationship Between Nurses' Response Time And Patient Satisfaction Levels In The Emergency Room Of Central Bengkulu Regional Hospital In 2025
Abstract
Indonesian Health Survey 2023, patient satisfaction assessment of Hospital services in Indonesia accessed in the last 1 year was assessed in several categories for easy and affordable access of 88.9%, Complete facilities 95.3%, cheap/free service costs 79.9%, communicative health workers 89.6%, comfortable rooms 88.8%, fast, precise and accurate service 87.1%, service according to expectations 88.8%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse response time and patient satisfaction levels in the Emergency Room of Bengkulu Tengah Regional Hospital in 2025. The research method used was descriptive research with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique with a sample size of 70 respondents in the Emergency Room of Bengkulu Tengah Regional Hospital in 2025. The results of the univariate test analysis showed that a small number of respondents (22.9%) assessed that the nurse response time was not fast enough and a small number of respondents (18.6%) were dissatisfied. The results of the bivariate analysis of the Fisher exact test obtained the results of the relationship between nurse response time and patient satisfaction levels with a p-value of 0.000. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between nurse response time and patient satisfaction levels in the Emergency Room of Bengkulu Tengah Regional Hospital in 2025. The researcher suggests that Bengkulu Tengah Regional Hospital can strengthen the management and monitoring of nurse response time in the Emergency Room so that the quality of service and patient satisfaction increases.
