Abstract
Childbirth is the process whereby a full-term or near full-term baby is delivered from the mother's womb, followed by the expulsion of the placenta and fetal membranes from the woman's body. Caesarean section (CS) is a method of delivering a baby by making an incision in the uterine wall through the front wall of the abdomen. According to the WHO, the prevalence of cesarean section has increased by 46% in China and 25% in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. In Indonesia, the incidence of cesarean section surgery continues to increase in private hospitals from 2017 to 2019, showing an incidence rate of 1.3-6.8%.
