Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are a leading cause of death, necessitating prevention efforts through the CKG program. However, the implementation of the CKG program at the Genuk Community Health Center (Puskesmas) has not been optimal; therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the program's management and the factors influencing community behavior regarding participation in the CKG program. This study aims to analyze the management of the CKG program and the behavioral factors affecting community participation in the program. The study employs a mixed-methods approach with a sequential exploratory design. Qualitative results indicate that the input aspect still faces human resource limitations in out-of-building services and the unavailability of a dedicated budget, while infrastructure, SOPs, and technology have supported program implementation. Process aspects, planning is not optimal and implementation still faces obstacles, although organization and supervision have been running well. The output aspect shows that the program's coverage target has not been achieved, but program integration and adaptation have been running well. Quantitative results indicate that predisposing factors, as well as supporting factors, are in the good category, while reinforcing factors are still less than optimal. It is concluded that the management of the CKG program at the Genuk Community Health Center (Puskesmas) is underway but not yet optimal regarding human resources, funding, planning, implementation, target achievement, and factors reinforcing community behavior. Recommendations include strengthening human resources, allocating a dedicated budget, optimizing planning and implementation, and increasing support from family, friends, and health workers to improve CKG program coverage.
