PENGARUH TERAPI RELAKSASI OTOT PROGRESIF TERHADAP KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH DAN ANKLE BRACHIAL INDEX DIABETES MELITUS II
Abstract
Pendahuluan: Diabetes mellitus suatu kelompok penyakit metabolik dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia menimbulkan berbagai komplikasi akut serta kronik1. Salah satunya adalah penyakit arteri perifer (PAP). Pemeriksaan ankle brachial index (ABI) dengan teratur dapat mendeteksi dini adanya PAP. Sebanyak 85% diabetesi merupakan penderita diabetes mellitus tipe22. Relaksasi Otot Progresif adalah metode yang mampu memperlancar aliaran darah. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperiment dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test. Sebanyak 10 responden terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data informasi responden dikumpulkan melalui proses wawancara dan observasi. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui kadar gula darah dan ankle bracial Indeks diakukan pengecekan. Data dianalisis dengan metode uji t-dependent dengan α=0,05. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai kadar gula darah sebelum dan setelah dilakukan tindakan (pvalue 0,000). Sedangkan nilai ABI tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan baik sebelum dan setelah tindakan (0,187) Kesimpulan: teknik relaksasi otot progresif efektif dalam menurunkan kadar gula darah, namun tidak dapat meningkatkan nilai ABI namun salah satu intervensi keperawatan mandiri.
