Development Of A Bookkeeping And Financial Reporting System For A Waste Bank
Abstract
This study aims to develop a Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting System for the Waste Bank at RT 02 RW 01, Kandang Limun Village. The main problems faced are the manual process of recording transactions and preparing financial reports, which may result in recording errors, delays in data recapitulation, and difficulties in managing and presenting data in a structured manner. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and literature review. The system development uses the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The developed system includes customer data management, waste type management, waste deposit transactions, withdrawal transactions, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. System testing is conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that each system function operates according to user requirements. The results of this study are a bookkeeping and financial reporting system that can assist the waste bank administrators in recording transactions, managing data, and preparing financial reports more effectively, accurately, transparently, and systematically. The developed system is expected to improve the organization of administrative and financial management processes at the Waste Bank and reduce dependence on manual record-keeping
