Digitalisasi Transaksi Bank Sampah Bangkit Bersama untuk Penguatan Ekonomi Sirkular
Abstract
Transaction management at Bangkit Bersama Waste Bank in Bengkulu City was previously conducted manually, causing customer data, waste deposits, savings balances, and reports to remain poorly integrated. This community service program aimed to strengthen governance through the implementation of a web-based waste bank application and improved administrator understanding. The program used a participatory approach consisting of needs identification, system development, training, implementation, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The implemented system integrates customer data, waste types and prices, deposit weight, transaction value, savings balances, transaction recapitulation, and reports, supported by a digital weighing scale and receipt printer. Evaluation of eight participants with matched data showed an increase in the average score from 60.00 in the pre-test to 68.75 in the post-test, representing an improvement of 14.58 percent. These results indicate that digital system implementation combined with mentoring supports more structured transaction recording, strengthens administrators’ understanding of waste bank operations, and provides a foundation for more orderly and sustainable management in supporting the local circular economy.
