Entrepreneurial Opportunities In Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

Abstract

Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) is an innovation in the legal system that utilizes technological advancements to resolve disputes outside of the court system. ODR offers a fast, efficient, and affordable solution for resolving various types of disputes, particularly those related to digital transactions and e-commerce. Despite its vast potential, the implementation of ODR in Indonesia faces challenges such as disparities in digital infrastructure and the lack of regulations that recognize decisions made through ODR. This study aims to analyze the entrepreneurial opportunities arising from online dispute resolution and assess the market potential, technological readiness, and regulatory support needed. By addressing the existing obstacles and challenges, this research intends to provide an overview of the prospects for developing ODR as a more efficient and inclusive dispute resolution solution in Indonesia.
