Implementation of The Organization Rangement Synthese Dedonnes Relationnelles (ORESTE) Method in Determining The Quality of Oyster Mushrooms Suitable For Marketing
Abstract
Oyster mushrooms are a horticultural commodity with high economic value and are highly sought after by the public. However, determining the quality of oyster mushrooms suitable for marketing is often done subjectively, potentially leading to inconsistencies in decision-making. Therefore, this study aims to implement the Organization Rangement Synthese Dedonnes Relationnelles (ORESTE) method to objectively and systematically determine the quality of oyster mushrooms suitable for marketing. The ORESTE method is a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method capable of ranking alternatives based on preference relationships between criteria without requiring data normalization. The criteria used in this study included color, size, texture, freshness, and physical condition of oyster mushrooms. The results showed that the ORESTE method can provide an accurate ranking of oyster mushroom quality and assist business owners in determining marketable oyster mushrooms. Therefore, the implementation of the ORESTE method is expected to be an effective decision support solution for improving the quality and competitiveness of oyster mushroom products in the market.
