Although this program has been implemented in various regions, its execution is still not optimal, including in the coastal area of Bentiring Health Center in Bengkulu City. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the Youth Posyandu Program based on three main aspects: input, process, and output.Research Method: The method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. The informants in the study consist of the head of the health center, program officers, cadres, and adolescent participants of the Posyandu. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and qualitative conclusion drawing.Research Results: The results show that the input aspect still has weaknesses, such as a lack of trained personnel, minimal special funding, and insufficient supporting facilities. In the process aspect, planning and implementation of activities have not been maximized due to a lack of adolescent involvement and the absence of routine evaluations. From the output aspect, the attendance and participation rates of adolescents are still low, although there is an increase in knowledge among some adolescents who actively participate.Recommendations: The researchers recommend that Bentiring Health Center enhance cadre training, optimize facilities and infrastructure, strengthen adolescent participation through ongoing education, and conduct routine monitoring and evaluation to make the Youth Posyandu Program more effective and sustainable.
2026-06-21T12:09:55+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/jiph/article/view/10242Factors Related to The Incidence of Hypertension in The Elderly in The Coastal Area of Bintuhan Health Center Working Area, Kaur Regency2026-06-21T12:17:51+07:00Septinawati Septinawatikesmasyunived@gmail.comFikitri Marya Sarifikitrymaryasari@unived.ac.idJulius HabibiJuliushabibi@unived.ac.id
Intoduction: Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases whose prevalence continues to rise in Indonesia, including in Kaur Regency. Lifestyle factors such as unhealthy eating patterns, lack of physical activity, and obesity are suspected to significantly contribute to the incidence of hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship between dietary patterns, physical activity, and obesity with the incidence of hypertension in the community within the working area of Bintuhan Health Center, Kaur Regency. Method: This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 96 respondents was taken through simple random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and blood pressure measurements, and analyzed using chi-square tests. Result and Discussion: The analysis results show a significant relationship between dietary patterns (p = 0.001), physical activity (p = 0.005), and obesity (p = 0.000) with the incidence of hypertension. Poor dietary patterns, low physical activity, and obesity status are associated with an increased risk of hypertension. Community-based promotional and preventive interventions need to be enhanced to reduce the burden of hypertension in the area. Conclusion: The health center is expected to strengthen education on healthy eating and lifestyle management for the elderly through a local cultural approach. Regular physical activity programs, such as elderly exercise classes, should be promoted, accompanied by regular monitoring of blood pressure and Body Mass Index (BMI). These preventive and promotional efforts are essential for the sustainable prevention and control of hypertension in coastal communities.
2026-06-21T12:17:37+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/jiph/article/view/10243Factors Related To The Occurrence Of Typoid Fever At Sawah Lebar Health Center In Bengkulu City2026-06-21T12:39:57+07:00Sri Wulandarikesmasyunived@gmail.comYusran Fauziyusron.stats@unived.ac.idFery Surahmanferysurahman@unived.ac.id
Typhoid fever is a major health problem in both developed and developing countries. Indonesia, with its tropical climate, makes tropical diseases easily spread. The prevalence of typhoid fever is increasing, with 8.5 million people infected and 10.2 million people infected. In Indonesia, the prevalence of typhoid fever also increases annually. Data from 2022 recorded 736,000 typhoid fever patients in Indonesia. Data from 2023 recorded approximately 645,000 typhoid fever patients in Indonesia. Estimated data for 2024 indicate a trend of cases remaining high, at approximately 690,000 cases. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample used was accidental sampling over a one-week period. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results of the study showed that almost most of the respondents had a risky age, namely 52 people (53%%), most of the respondents had good knowledge, namely 35 people (36.1%), and most of the respondents had a history of typhoid fever, namely 45 people (46.4%) and almost all of the respondents had the habit of eating outside the home, namely 58 people (59.8%). There was a significant correlation in the age variable (p-value = 0.002 <α 0.05), there was a significant correlation in the Knowledge variable (p-value = 0.005 <α 0.05), there was a significant correlation in the typhoid fever history variable (p-value = 0.005 <α 0.05). There was no correlation between the variable of eating out habits (p-value = 1.000 < α 0.05). The health center is expected to coordinate more frequently with health authorities to monitor and improve surveys and provide education. The community is also expected to be actively involved in participating in typhoid fever prevention activities at Sawah Lebar Health Center.
2026-06-21T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/jiph/article/view/10244A Correlation Between Knowledge And Socio-Economics With The Selection Of Contraceptives In Coastal Areas In The Working Area Of Luas Health Center Of Kaur Regency2026-06-21T12:50:09+07:00Yeka Hermalenakesmasyunived@gmail.comFikitri Marya Sarifikitrymaryasari@unived.ac.idDarmawansyah Darmawansyahdarmawansyah@unived.ac.id
Intoduction: Family planning programs are direct efforts aimed at reducing birth rates through the use of contraceptives. Research by the World Health Organization (WHO) indicates that 70-80% of errors in healthcare are caused by poor communication and a lack of understanding among healthcare team members. Effective communication between medical and non-medical healthcare teams can reduce patient safety issues (WHO, 2021). Method: This research used an analytical cross-sectional design. It was conducted at the Cecar Community Health Center in December 2025. The sample consisted of 76 pregnant women, selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Result and Discussion: The results of the Chi Square statistical test show that there is a relationship between midwife communication and pregnant women's satisfaction with ANC services with a p value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is a relationship between midwife communication and pregnant women's satisfaction with ANC services at the Community Health Center. Researchers suggest that the Cecar Community Health Center should focus on improving the quality of ANC services not only on the technical aspects of pregnancy examinations, but also on improving midwives' communication skills through effective communication training, midwifery counseling, and the implementation of services that are oriented towards the needs of pregnant women.
2026-06-21T13:00:18+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/jiph/article/view/10277The Implementation Analysis Related To The Prevention Of Hepatitis B Disease Among Health Workers In Lebong Regency In 20252026-06-21T13:27:05+07:00Rachman Rachmanrachman.dinkes@gmail.comHartian Pansorihartianpansor@unived.ac.idTuti Rohanituti.rohani.unived@gmail.com
The Data from WHO in 2019 estimated that 296 million people live with chronic hepatitis B infection, with 1.5 million new infections occurring each year, leading to approximately 820,000 deaths. The transmission of this virus primarily occurs through contact with infected blood or bodily fluids, placing health workers at high risk of contracting Hepatitis B. Hepatitis B vaccination coverage among health workers remains low, below 60%. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the transmission of hepatitis B infection among health workers in Lebong Regency. The method used in this study is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach, and its statistical analysis employs Chi-Square and logistic regression analysis. Among all observed variables that showed a statistical relationship (P<0.05) are immunization status, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP), and behavior (p <0.05). The results of the bivariate analysis using the Chi-square statistical test (continuity correction) yielded asymptotic significance (p) values of 0.001, 0.002, 0.013, and 0.046. The second analysis results indicated that the variables of immunization status (p value=0.002), use of PPE (p value=0.006), implementation of SOP (p value=0.059), and behavior (p value=0.017) were significant, with immunization status having the smallest p value (Sig) of 0.002. From the analysis, an Odds Ratio (OR) of 5.606 was obtained, indicating that immunization status has a 5.606 times greater chance of hepatitis B occurrence among health workers. Based on the results of this study, program holders should evaluate the planning and implementation of vaccination programs, ensuring that health workers in healthcare facilities receive Hepatitis B immunization.
2026-06-21T13:27:05+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/jiph/article/view/10279An Analysis of Electronic Medical Record Implementation at RSUD Tais, Seluma Regency In 20252026-06-21T13:29:18+07:00Purnamaliyah PurnamaliyahPurnamabkl17@gmail.comFirman Bintarafirmanbintara967@gmail.comJon Hendri Nurdanjonnurdan@unived.ac.id
Seluma Regency ranks 5th out of 10 regencies/cities, with 31.76% of health care facilities (fasyankes) connected to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The implementation of EMR still faces various obstacles, such as low compliance and knowledge among officers, limited infrastructure, and suboptimal budget support. The study aims to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of EMR, including staff compliance and knowledge, changes in governance, supporting facilities, and budgetary support. The method used is an analytical research design with a mixed-method approach. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents consisting of health workers and management of the Seluma District General Hospital using stratified random sampling. This was clarified with a qualitative approach and field observations. The integrated results show that although statistically the variables are not significant, in practical terms, increasing staff knowledge through structured training, providing adequate technological facilities, and strengthening management commitment are seen as strategic steps to improve the achievement of RME implementation. Regular training, structured supervision, and strengthening of facilities and budgets to support RME implementation are recommended. Change management needs to be designed systematically with improved data connectivity. Further research on a larger scale is recommended to strengthen the findings.
2026-06-21T13:29:18+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
