Analysis of the Implementation of Order and Security Enforcement by Cinema Management in Palembang City
Abstract
This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of order and security enforcement efforts by cinema management in Palembang City, particularly at CGV Transmart Palembang, and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research uses an empirical juridical method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, field observations, and literature studies related to entertainment business regulations and consumer protection laws. The results show that CGV Transmart Palembang management has implemented order and security enforcement through preventive, repressive, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approaches. These efforts include visitor supervision, ticket inspection, cinema area security, queue management, and handling disturbances inside the studio. Supporting factors include clear SOPs, adequate security facilities, and coordination among officers. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited active supervision inside the studio, high visitor density at certain times, and dependence on visitor reports in detecting security disturbances. Therefore, strengthening the supervision system and improving risk management are necessary to create optimal security and comfort for visitors.
