Pemberdayaan Desa Berbasis Kebutuhan Lokal melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata
Abstract
The diversity of challenges in Karanggondang Village, Mlonggo District, Jepara Regency, requires empowerment interventions that are adaptive to the characteristics and needs of each target group. This community service activity aimed to design and implement needs-based interventions addressing business legality and digitalization, local institutions, environmental issues, and community skills. The approach involved observation, interviews, needs assessment, solution design, mentoring, hands-on practice, and outcome verification. The interventions produced concrete outcomes, including 24 business units obtaining Business Identification Numbers, 12 business units obtaining or activating digital payment services, and 15 business units being listed on Google Maps. At the local institutional level, the program produced a chicken manure removal tool and a savings and loan administration system based on an electronic spreadsheet. For community groups, the program developed botanical pesticides, biopore infiltration holes, and educational media. These findings indicate that differentiating interventions according to local needs can generate measurable, applicable, and contextually relevant outputs. A local needs-based approach also strengthens the connection between problem identification, solution design, mentoring, and the direct implementation of outcomes by community members and local institutions.
