Implementasi Visi Dan Misi Sman Sumsel Dalam Membangun Karakter Dan Prestasi Siswa
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the vision and mission of SMAN Sumsel in the learning process, school culture, and the development of students’ character and academic achievement. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis to describe how the school’s vision and mission are translated into policies and educational programs. The findings indicate that the vision and mission have been consistently integrated into both academic and non-academic activities through strong leadership and active participation from teachers and students. However, several challenges were identified, including varying levels of student awareness of the school’s core values and limitations in available facilities. Overall, the vision and mission of SMAN Sumsel contribute positively to improving educational quality and fostering student character development.
