Training sessions focused on practicing specific acupressure points on the body, accompanied by blood pressure measurements taken before and after the therapy sessions. The results indicated a reduction in participants' blood pressure levels following acupressure therapy. Additionally, participants' knowledge regarding hypertension and its management improved significantly. In conclusion, acupressure therapy has proven to be an effective and practical solution that can be independently applied to manage blood pressure and prevent hypertension-related complications in the community.
Selvia Purnama Putri, Des Metasari, Tsuraiya Indah Permata Sari, Devitri Jayanti, Dicky Candra Putra, Dandi Saputra6, Tuti r, Danur Azissah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/7899 Wed, 07 May 2025 04:26:12 +0000 KKN Membaca https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/7900
Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is one of the student community service programs at Dehasen University. In 2025, KKN emphasizes the development of student creativity as well as an understanding of the conditions and potential of the target community. One of the main issues raised is the low reading interest among students in Indonesia, which remains a serious problem despite the increasing access to information through technology. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to describe the understanding of school community members regarding literacy and its implementation in teaching and learning activities in elementary schools. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand the phenomenon in depth. The research results show that the reading method, which involves asking students to read a text and retell its content, accompanied by the provision of rewards, effectively improves students' reading skills significantly. Students showed improvement in understanding the text, recognizing difficult words, and visualizing the content of the reading. In addition, this activity also successfully increased students' interest in reading, making them more motivated to read other books. Teachers reported an improvement in students' speaking and writing skills as a result of this activity. Thus, the reading program implemented through community service (KKN) has proven effective in improving students' academic abilities while also building a strong literacy culture.
Muhammad Ichsan Erbakan, Muhammad Daffaul Haq, Bintang Fajri, Dandy Anugrah Pratama, Hilda Meisya Arif, Asnawati Asnawati, Merry Rulyanti, Martiani Martiani, Maryaningsih Maryaningsih, Sri Narti, Hesti Nur’Aini, Herri Fariadi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/7900 Wed, 07 May 2025 04:27:16 +0000 Latihan Senam Kaki Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus Dalam Upaya Pencegahan Komplikasi Diabetes Pada Kaki https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/7901
Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder that is genetically and clinically heterogeneous with manifestations in the form of loss of carbohydrate tolerance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of an herbal remedy containing ginger, galangal, and lemongrass in reducing pain intensity among Rheumatoid Arthritis patients. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. It was conducted in RT 05, Kelurahan Ponorogo, Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Utara II, involving 20 purposively selected respondents. The herbal remedy was administered twice daily for seven days, and pain intensity was measured using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant decrease in the average pain intensity from 6.5 to 3.0 after the intervention (p < 0.05). The gingerol content in ginger, flavonoids in galangal, and anti-inflammatory compounds in lemongrass were found to play a role in reducing inflammation and joint pain. This herbal remedy is effective, safe, and easily applicable as an alternative therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis patients, particularly in communities with limited access to pharmacological treatments. The study concludes that the herbal remedy of ginger, galangal, and lemongrass is a potential option in Rheumatoid Arthritis management. The disease begins with a fever accompanied by one or more symptoms: sore throat or painful swallowing, runny nose, dry cough or phlegm. If the immune defense in the respiratory tract is weakened, this can increase the risk of more serious bacterial infections, such as sinusitis or otitis media. Medical care that can be provided in case of ARI is symptomatic. In addition to medical care, additional therapeutic care can also be given to patients with ARI. One of the complementary therapies that can be given to patients with ARI is simple inhalation of eucalyptus oil. The design of the scientific articles uses a case study model. The subjects used were two children with ARI. Data analysis was done using descriptive analysis. The results of the application showed that after the application of a simple inhalation of eucalyptus oil, the clearance of the subject's airways was again effective, which was marked by a decrease in RR frequency, lack of accumulation of secretions, and a decrease in crackle noise. Both diseases often go undiagnosed at an early stage, which can lead to serious complications such as stroke, heart attack and other organ damage. This health situation analysis aims to identify health problems related to hypertension and diabetes mellitus, their contributing factors, and provide recommendations for better management. Based on the 2018 Riskesdas, the prevalence of hypertension in adults in Indonesia reached 34.1%, hypertension often goes undetected because it does not show obvious symptoms in the early stages. Diabetes mellitus has also increased, the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in people aged 15 years and over is 6.9% and most cases are undiagnosed. There were 452 patients with hypertension in the UPTD Puskesmas Muara Bangkahulu in 2023 and an estimated 103 patients with diabetes mellitus in the general clinic at the UPTD Puskesmas Muara Bangkahulu in 2023. After conducting an assessment of residents of RT 27 Pematang Governor village, Muara Bangkahulu sub-district, it was found that some residents had a history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Based on the analysis of the health situation, the health priorities that need to be addressed immediately are hypertension problems in the community, especially in RT 27. The problem of diabetes mellitus in the community, especially in RT 27, The solution to the problem from the situation analysis is to conduct a campaign or education about healthy lifestyles, conduct early detection and health checks related to hypertension and diabetes mellitus with the success indicator of the difference in the increase in knowledge before and after counseling using a questionnaire, and it was found that there was a significant change between before and after the counseling was given, namely in hypertension there was an increase in good knowledge from 21% to 74%, while for less criteria there was a change from 79% to 26%. While counselling about diabetes mellitus, the average pre-test knowledge of the elderly about diabetes mellitus before being given counselling about diabetes mellitus is 65 in the sufficient category. Then the average post-test knowledge of the elderly about diabetes after being given counseling about diabetes mellitus is 80 in the good category, so it can be concluded that there is a significant change in knowledge before and after being given counseling.
Hanisyah Herti Dwisari, Tiary Novalia, Trisna Wulan Safitri, Yogi Kurniawan, Inda Andreani Andreani, Retni Retni, Tuti Rohani, Danur Azissah ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/7919 Thu, 08 May 2025 03:42:53 +0000 Strategi Peningkatan Kesadaran Hukum Masyarakat Terhadap UU ITE Dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Di Era Digital https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/7921
The increasing use of information and electronic technology has positive and negative impacts on daily life.
