The lack of awareness and skills among the community in managing inorganic waste, such as plastic bottle caps, has led to the accumulation of garbage and has a negative impact on the environment. This article aims to describe the implementation of a plastic waste processing training program as a solution to the aforementioned problem. The methods used include three stages: preparation of tools and materials, implementation of training in making handicraft products (such as trash bins, pencil cases, and bags of bottle caps), and evaluation and documentation of activities. The training was conducted demonstratively and participatively for the residents of RT 02. The results of the activity show an increase in residents' knowledge, creativity, and skills in recycling waste into valuable and economically useful products. This activity also promotes environmental awareness and the economic independence of the community. In conclusion, creativity-based plastic waste processing training has proven effective as a strategy for implementing a circular economy and sustainable environmental preservation.

Zelinda Prasetia, Singgi Mulyadi, Wiranda Buaton, Nita Meliani, Alwin Danofi, Eska Prima Monique Damarsiwi, Neri Susanti, Yun Fitriano ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9146 Wed, 01 Oct 2025 10:01:08 +0700 Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Sampah Organik Dan Non Organik Menjadi Nilai Tambah Di SMPN 16 Kota Bengkulu Kelurahan Betungan https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9147
The increasingly complex waste problem in Indonesia requires an increase in public awareness, especially the younger generation, in managing waste from an early age. This activity aims to increase junior high school students' understanding of organic and non-organic waste management through interactive and educational socialization. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach involving 21 participants, consisting of students and accompanying teachers at SMP Negeri 16 Bengkulu City. Data were collected through observation, short interviews, and documentation of activities. The results of the activity showed that students were enthusiastic about participating in the socialization and showed an increase in understanding of the types of waste and how to manage it, especially through the 4R method (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recovery). The use of visual media and active discussions proved effective in increasing participant interest and involvement. The conclusion of this activity is that socialization is able to raise students' awareness of the importance of sorting and processing waste, and encourage them to become agents of change in maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment and its surroundings.

Erika Nanda Sasmita, Suli Harni, Triana Puspita, Lutviana Rahmandani, Dinda Dwi Agnesia, Hesti Nur’aini, Herri Fariadi, Herlin Herlin ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9147 Wed, 01 Oct 2025 10:01:49 +0700 Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Mempertahankan Budaya Gotong Royong Untuk Meningkatkan Pembangunan Di RT 03, RW 01, Pematang Gubernur https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9148
Mutual Cooperation is a cultural value that plays a crucial role in building social solidarity and community cohesion. However, social and cultural developments in modern times have led to a decline in community participation in mutual cooperation activities in some areas. This study aims to analyze the level of community participation, the factors influencing it, and strategies to strengthen mutual cooperation in RT 03 RW 01 Pematang Gubernur. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through observation and documentation. Informants were purposively selected, including the neighborhood head, community leaders, and residents who both participate and do not participate. The results show that community participation in mutual cooperation remains fairly high, especially in communal work and public facility development, supported by a sense of social responsibility and solidarity. The main obstacles are busy work schedules, individualistic lifestyles, and lack of awareness among some residents. Regular meetings and the role of community leaders effectively increase participation and a sense of belonging. The study concludes that strengthening the culture of mutual cooperation requires raising collective awareness, empowering community leaders, and adjusting activity schedules to accommodate residents’ needs. These findings are important for maintaining communal values amid social and cultural dynamics in modern society.
Aldi Alfarizi, Weko Hendriansyah, Marsanda Marsanda, Sulistiani Sulistiani, Sampirman Wahyudi, Iswidana Utama Putra, Karona Cahya Susena, Suwarni Suwarni ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9148 Wed, 01 Oct 2025 10:02:40 +0700 Sosialisasi Penjualan Online Facebook Pada Usaha Gula Aren Ibu Israh Desa Bandu Agung Kab.Kaur https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/8552
0This research aims to improve Mrs. Israh's knowledge and skills as well as in utilizing the Facebook platform as an online sales medium. Utilization and processing are adjusted to the type of waste. Inorganic waste can be recycled into craft products that can be used such as plastic bottles. The KKN-T community service program is carried out by providing education through socialization of waste sorting and training activities for making crafts from snake tongue fiber and used plastic bottles. Sorting 3R waste to residents of RT.41, especially inorganic waste, namely plastic bottles, jars and cardboard by direct exposure, providing information from leaflets, as well as information on its economic value. Furthermore, conducting training in processing inorganic waste into crafts in the form of mineral water baskets. Utilization of snake tongue fiber and plastic bottles into mineral water basket crafts can be an alternative for processing inorganic waste that has economic value and is environmentally friendly. This community service can be an inspiration for residents of RT.41 to develop other craft products that utilize natural materials and inorganic waste. In addition, the high economic value of the craft products produced requires further action that can increase public awareness in implementing the 3R principle.
Supri Yadi, Pio Rahmat Saputra, Indra Lesmana Saputra, Agus Septiawan, Kevin Syaputra, Andwini Prasetya, Hesti Nur’aini, Herri Fariadi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9143 Wed, 01 Oct 2025 10:50:56 +0700 Pelaksanaan Gotong Royong Untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat Dalam Kebersihan Lingkungan https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9145
This research investigates the implementation of a waste segregation system focusing on organic and inorganic waste to improve environmental awareness within the Pematang Gubernur community in Bengkulu. Pematang Gubernur https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9154
Plastic waste is a major problem in Indonesia that contributes to environmental damage. This is due to the increasing demand for plastic in line with population growth and the lack of public awareness regarding the reuse of plastic waste. Plastic is indeed one of the biggest 'enemies' of the environment, with used beverage bottles being one of them. As is known, plastic has a negative impact on the environment because plastic is difficult to decompose by the soil even after being buried for years. One simple way that can be implemented in elementary schools to raise students' awareness of the environment is by using used plastic bottles as planting media. This activity aims to raise public awareness about reducing household waste. In addition, another goal is to utilize household waste for something more beneficial, in this case, as a planting medium. This method is carried out through counseling and the distribution of leaflets. The implementation of community service activities related to the management of inorganic household waste into planting media has been carried out well and smoothly. The understanding of the community in RT 17 Pematang Gubernur regarding the management of inorganic waste as a planting medium has increased.

Melsa Wulandari, Sinta Bela, Bella Augusta, Tiara Elma Fira, Asty Eka Fitriani, Iswidana Utama Putra, Yusuf Wahyudi, Tito Irwanto ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9154 Wed, 01 Oct 2025 11:21:06 +0700 Peran Mahasiswa KKN Dan Masyarakat Dalam Membangun Semangat Gotong Royong Di Perumahan Pematang Indah RT 18 https://jurnal.unived.ac.id/index.php/goro/article/view/9155
The mutual cooperation program in RT 18 RW 02 in Pematang Indah Housing has been successfully implemented by students of the Community Service Program (KKN).
