Evaluasi Permainan Tim RRQ Hoshi Pada MPL Season 14 (Studi Kasus Rotasi Permainan Tim RRQ Hoshi)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the in-game rotation of the RRQ Hoshi team across 16 matches during the MPL Indonesia Season 14 Playoffs and Grand Final, employing a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through non-participant observation of video recordings to identify rotation patterns and their effectiveness. The results indicate that RRQ Hoshi's in-game rotation was highly inconsistent; at their peak performance, their rotations proved highly effective, coordinated, and proactive in securing crucial objectives—such as the Turtle and Lord—that were pivotal to victory. Conversely, during periods of declining performance, their rotations became chaotic and undisciplined, often leading to disastrous outcomes caused by uncoordinated, high-risk aggression and an inability to contest objectives under pressure. Thus, it is concluded that RRQ's success was not determined by their rotation strategy concept—which had proven effective—but rather by consistency in execution and team coordination, which served as the fundamental factors distinguishing between victory and defeat.
