Chemistry teachers in Bandar Lampung face challenges in using AI in teaching chemistry at school. To overcome this problem, training is needed to facilitate increasing chemistry teachers' understanding of the use of AI in learning. The aim of this training is for chemistry teachers in Bandar Lampung to understand and be able to use AI which can increase learning effectiveness. The method used in this training is to provide direct training both theory and practice, test instruments are used to see improvements in training results. The results of the training had a positive impact, providing significant improvements. The average post-test score is 88, this value is greater than the pre-test score of only 71. This increase is an indication of the success of the training. So that teachers can make learning more effective at school by utilizing technology as an AI-based learning resource. In the end, it can improve the quality of chemistry learning in schools.

Deaths from cervical cancer occur in low and middle income countries such as Indonesia, GLOBOCAN (2019) states that breast cancer ranks second in Indonesia as a cause of death from cancer. Public awareness to carry out early detection efforts for cancer results in many cancer patients who do not know about it and only use health services at a late stage, as a result of which maximum treatment cannot be carried out. Prevention of death can be overcome by increasing public knowledge and early detection efforts through breast self-examination (SADARI) and clinical breast examination (SADANIS)The purpose of this activity is to increase WUS knowledge and teach SADARI and SADANIS examinations.This activity was carried out from May to July 2024 in Bengkulu City on 50 WUS, by providing education about cancer to mobilizing the community to carry out SADARI independently and facilitating SADANIS activities in health service facilities that are referrals for WUS health insurance.The result is 80% of their knowledge increased, 100% were able to demonstrate SADARI according to SOP, 78% performed SADANIS in local health services with the result that no one was at risk of breast cancer. Providing education and simulation of SADARI and SADANIS activities effectively mobilizes the community to make efforts for early detection of breast cancer. The role of health workers in disseminating health information and simulations with the community directly can improve optimal health levels.

Science video media offers an innovative solution with engaging visual content and evocative narration, which not only builds curiosity towards science but also teaches social-emotional values through real-life situations. Despite its great potential, the implementation of this media faces challenges, such as the lack of understanding of educators and parents, limited technological infrastructure, and the risk of children's dependence on digital media. Through this community service program, educators and parents are educated on the use of science video media to create relevant, engaging, and holistic learning, which is expected to improve children's social-emotional abilities while strengthening the quality of education in the digital era.

Teknik Pengendalian Hama Tikus dengan Metode Gropyokan Di Desa Sumbersari Kecamatan Sumberharta

Rice plants are the main food source in Indonesia which has the potential to continue to be increased in supporting rice self-sufficiency with significant production. However, rat pest attacks can reduce rice production by up to 37%. Through this community service program, the aimed is for farmers in Sumbersari Village, Sumberharta District to be able to carry out more efficient and effective pest control techniques through the gropyokan method. This activity will take place from June to August 2024 and will involve the active participation of more than 80% of local farmers. The results of this gropyokan activity showed that more than 500 rats were successfully caught. This activity also showed that rat pest attacks decreased by 30% after the implementation of the activity. Besides that, this program not only increases the effectiveness of pest control but also strengthens solidarity and cooperation between farmers. Awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly methods in pest control is growing, encouraging farmers to schedule regular gropyokan activities. This activity not only provides a practical solution to the problem of rat pests, but also fosters a spirit of collaboration and environmental awareness among village communities.

Small-scale local entrepreneurs are often the pulse of the grassroots economy that supports the pulse of daily life. Seblak Cik Maya is one of the local businesses that is growing in Bengkulu City and is engaged in the culinary specialty. In the midst of the digital era that continues to develop, traditional strategies are starting to be abandoned and shifting towards a digital-based system. This study aims to optimize the digital marketing strategy that can be implemented by Seblak Cik Maya in order to reach a wider market and increase sales. The method used is descriptive qualitative through direct observation, interviews with business owners, and documentation of marketing activities that have been carried out. The results show that with the right digital approach, Seblak Cik Maya has the potential to increase brand visibility and expand customer reach. This study provides a contribution in the form of understanding and technical assistance regarding digital marketing based on social media for local entrepreneurs. In addition, this study also provides implementation recommendations that can be used as a reference by similar MSMEs in adapting digitalization as a sustainable means in the current era of digital transformation.

Labels on food packaging play a crucial role in providing accurate information to consumers regarding product contents, safety, and usage instructions. Clear and regulated labeling helps consumers make informed decisions and avoid health risks due to improper consumption. A labeling awareness program was conducted using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach within the Food Packaging and Storage course at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. Students were actively involved in material preparation, information delivery, and interactive discussions aimed at enhancing both conceptual understanding and practical skills. The presented material included definitions of labeling, its functions and benefits, as well as mandatory components such as product name, composition, net weight, expiration date, and distribution permit, in accordance with BPOM regulations and SNI standards. The results showed that students improved their understanding of proper food labeling and recognized its role as a communication tool between producers and consumers. Additionally, the activity positively impacted students’ readiness to face real-world business challenges, particularly in developing food products within small-scale industries or MSMEs. This program is expected to serve as a starting point for community empowerment through better understanding and innovation in food product labeling

Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world, which significantly influences the culture and consumption patterns of its people, especially regarding the increasing demand for halal products. The development of various industries requires heightened awareness of the halal status of products. Teenagers, as one of the primary targets of new products, must have adequate knowledge to recognize whether the products they intend to purchase are halal. This community service aims to provide knowledge about the importance of recognizing halal products, raise awareness among youth about the necessity of consuming halal products in daily life from an early age, and educate students on the importance of carefully selecting halal products. This is to ensure peace of mind, safety, and health for individuals from an early stage. The community service activities were carried out through socialization and educational methods. The results of this community service indicate an increase in students’ awareness from school age, so that when they are later exposed to environments with various products — both halal and those with unclear halal status — they will have the awareness to choose what is appropriate and inappropriate to consume. In addition, participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of halal labeling. Consequently, consumer trust and purchasing interest — particularly among students of SMK 3 Seluma, Bengkulu — are expected to increase due to the presence of halal labels.

In Indonesia, breast cancer attacks more women than men (KPKN, 2015), and around 70% of breast cancer patients come to the hospital in an advanced stage (Despitasari, 2017). The prognosis of breast cancer is closely related to the stage at which the cancer is diagnosed. An earlier diagnosis will help reduce mortality from breast cancer, therefore several screening and early diagnostic programs have been developed to detect breast cancer in the early stages (Rukmi, 2017). Breast self-examination (SADARI), clinical breast examination (CBE), and mammography are used as references for breast cancer screening (KPKN, 2015). One of the efforts that can be made in the context of early detection of breast cancer is breast self-examination (SADARI), which is an examination carried out by a person to detect breast conditions.

The purposed of this activity is carried out to provide intervention in the form of psicoeducation that counseling to parents who have toddlers. The goal is to increase parental knowledge and awareness regarding parenting patterns that parents have that can affect tantrums in children. This intervention provides information about the definition of tantrums, forms of tantrums, causes of tantrums, impacts of tantrums, how to handle tantrums, and how to prevent tantrums. The service provider hopes that the intervention carried out can help parents to better understand and realize the impacts of improper tantrum handling, so that parents can provide appropriate parenting patterns in handling tantrums. Then based on the results of the pre-test and post-test of the counseling that has been carried out, it was obtained that there was an increase in parental knowledge regarding parenting patterns for tantrums in children.

The Family Hope Programme (PKH) is an effort to accelerate poverty by the Government of Indonesia since 2007. The community receiving PKH assistance tends to be passive in managing the assistance received, so that the positive impact on improving the quality of life is still limited and seems to wait or depend on the next assistance (periodic assistance). Dusun Besar Village is one of the villages that is still a PKH beneficiary, namely 115 households. Based on the survey results, it can be concluded that partners (PKH group in Dusun Besar Village) need training and assistance to be able to achieve the long-term goals of the PKH programme. The training and assistance needed is a Marketing Management Workshop on basic entrepreneurship. The purpose of the Community Service aims to provide education and strengthening about basic entrepreneurship through workshops and training activities for PKH beneficiary families in Dusun Besar Village, Singaran Pati District, Bengkulu City. This activity is carried out with stages of problem identification, training consisting of lecture, discussion and hands-on practice methods as well as mentoring, monitoring and evaluation. Participants of this activity are members of PKH beneficiaries from Dusun Besar Village, totalling 35 people. The results showed an increase in knowledge, motivation and skills of partners which had an impact on improving the welfare of families receiving the PKH programme in Dusun Besar Village, Singaran Pati District, Bengkulu City.

The Merdeka Mengajar Platform application is a technology platform provided to be a driving companion for teachers and principals in teaching, learning, and working. The Merdeka Mengajar Platform was built to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum so that it can help teachers get references, inspiration, and understanding in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The Community Service Team consisting of Lecturers and Students carried out community service activities, especially at the Rejang Lebong Regency Coordinator. Rejang Lebong has not fully understood how to implement the School Mover Program, so the results of observations and interviews from various School Parties, both Elementary and Junior High Schools along with the Education Office conveyed that the problems they are currently facing are the difficulty of learning the PMM (Merdeka Mengajar Platform) and understanding the Pancasila P5 Profile. Thus, the BPMP took the initiative to invite cooperation with Lecturers at the FKIP Dehasen University Bengkulu to support the acceleration of the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Rejang Lebong. The objectives of this activity are: Providing socialization and training on the use of the Teaching Platform to Junior High School Teachers in Rejang Lebong, Providing socialization and understanding of the Pancasila P5 Profile to Junior High School Teachers in Rejang Lebong. The results of this activity are Community Service Material as additional knowledge for Junior High School Teachers of Rejang Lebong Region II. that it turns out that the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform Application is very important. The community service participants were very enthusiastic and excited to participate in the activity, the Pancasila P5 Profile understanders and Junior High School Teachers of Rejang Lebong Region II really felt the effects of the benefits of knowledge about P5.

Penanaman Karakter Kedisiplinan Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Futsal Di Mi Al Jhaq

Instilling disciplined character in students is a fundamental step in forming responsible individuals, obeying rules, and being able to manage time effectively. Physical education, especially through futsal learning, is one of the strategic means in internalizing disciplined values in a fun and contextual way. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to design and implement a futsal learning strategy that is integrated with the instillation of disciplined values for MI Al Jhaq students. The activity methods include basic futsal technique training sessions, character value guidance, and evaluation of student attitudes during the process. The observation results showed a significant increase in four indicators of discipline, namely punctual attendance (from 56% to 90%), use of training equipment (63% to 93%), compliance with game rules (61% to 88%), and ability to follow instructions (59% to 91%). These findings strengthen that futsal learning can act as an effective medium in forming student character, especially discipline. With the support of a constructivist and participatory approach, this activity not only improves motor skills, but also forms positive attitudes and behaviors in students in a sustainable manner.

This Community Service Program (PKM) is a collaboration between lecturers and students of Dehasen Bengkulu University which aims to socialize the importance of sportsmanship in football to teenagers in Suka Negeri Village, Air Nipis District. This activity was motivated by the low awareness of young players towards sportsmanship values such as honesty, respecting opponents, obeying the rules, and accepting defeat with an open heart. Football, which should be a means of character building, often triggers conflict due to a lack of understanding of playing ethics. The method of implementing this activity uses an educational and participatory approach, which includes material counseling, discussions, and soccer match simulations with direct application of sportsmanship. The activity was carried out on June 7, 2025 and was attended by 30 participants, consisting of teenagers, youth leaders. The results of the activity showed that participants experienced an increase in understanding of the concept of sportsmanship, and most began to show a more positive change in attitude when playing. This activity proves that sports can be an effective medium in character education, especially in rural areas. It is hoped that with the synergy between universities and the community, the values of sportsmanship can continue to be instilled and become part of a healthy and constructive playing culture. This activity also strengthens the role of lecturers and students in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the aspect of community service.

ABSTRAK

Permasalahan sampah plastik di wilayah perkotaan seperti Jakarta terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan pola konsumsi masyarakat. Jika tidak dikelola dengan baik, sampah plastik dapat mencemari lingkungan, menjadi tempat berkembang biaknya nyamuk Aedes aegypti, serta berkontribusi terhadap penyebaran penyakit seperti Demam Berdarah (DBD). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan ibu-ibu Komunitas Jumantik Kelurahan Palmeriam, Jakarta, dalam mengelola sampah plastik menjadi kerajinan tangan berupa bunga hias. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta tentang bahaya sampah plastik, serta kemampuan mereka dalam menghasilkan berbagai jenis bunga dari plastik bekas, seperti bunga mawar, bunga anggrek, dan bunga lili. Selain memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan, kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang ekonomi kreatif bagi masyarakat sekitar. The problem of plastic waste in urban areas such as Jakarta continues to increase along with Taxation is a vital primary source of state revenue essential for national development. To support the improvement of taxpayer compliance, the Indonesian government has implemented a self-assessment system and utilized e-Filing technology for the Annual Tax Return reporting. However, the level of public literacy and understanding of taxation and the use of e-Filing remains low. This article discusses the implementation of the 2024 Tax Volunteer Program involving students from Muhammadiyah University of Sorong as assistants in the Annual Tax Return reporting at KPP Pratama Sorong. The methods employed include intensive preparation, training, and direct assistance to taxpayers. The results indicate that the assistance provided by tax volunteers effectively enhances taxpayers’ understanding and compliance, as well as facilitates the SPT reporting process through e-Filing. Challenges such as limited infrastructure and tax literacy are still encountered; however, overall, this program contributes positively to fostering a culture of tax reporting within the community.

The village government serves as the frontline in delivering public services in Indonesia, particularly in providing administrative services to the community. However, challenges such as limited human resources and technology often hinder the effectiveness of these services. The Field Work Practice (PKL) activity conducted by students at the Dusun Baru Village Office, Ilir Talo Sub-district, aims to support the implementation of public services, especially in managing administrative letters and handling community complaints. The PKL activities included observation, active participation in administrative services, and assisting community members. The results showed that student involvement was able to improve the efficiency and accuracy of service processes, as well as provide innovative solutions to technical challenges in the field. Therefore, the role of students has proven to be strategic in helping village officials deliver more responsive and professional services.

The survey intends to identify the needs and opportunities for the need for social media for SMES business actors. Then, the socialization and training stages were carried out by the team. The result of this community service activity is the knowledge of participants, in this case SMES business actors, regarding the need for social media to increase marketing and product branding. After the PKM activities were carried out and the material presentation was delivered, it was found that the participants' knowledge about social media had increased.

The activity began with surveys and discussions with SME owners to identify their needs and challenges in HR management. Training covering both theory and practical use of digital work calendars was conducted to improve operational efficiency. The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and ability to compile and apply digital work calendars, which are expected to increase productivity and adaptation to technological developments.

This community service activity aims to assist UMKM Arabian Kebab Bang Aji Bengkulu in managing daily cash records based on simple financial applications, namely the Daily Cash Book. The implementation method consists of observation, training, direct assistance, and evaluation of the use of the application. The results of the activity show that MSME owners are getting used to using the application to record daily income and expenses, so that they can monitor the financial condition of their business more regularly and accurately. With this assistance, it is hoped that MSMEs can improve financial literacy and make more informed business decisions based on well-documented financial data.

The purpose of this research is to conduct a thorough analysis of the utilisation of digital media in the learning process at SMKN 3 Bengkulu Tengah (High School 3 Central Bengkulu) and its impact on students' academic performance. This study adopts a qualitative approach employing a case study methodology, which involves the analysis of data gathered from interviews with teachers and students, direct observations of the learning process, and documentation of the use of digital media within the school. The findings reveal a significant enhancement in students' motivation to learn and their comprehension of concepts, as evidenced by their active participation in learning activities. However, the study also identifies several challenges encountered, such as the uneven accessibility of the internet across the school premises and the necessity for more comprehensive training for teachers to effectively leverage technology. To address these challenges, the research recommends the enhancement of teacher training, the provision of improved internet infrastructure, and the development of a curriculum that is integrated with digital technology. Through these measures, it is anticipated that the potential of digital media can be maximised to improve students' overall academic performance.

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to increase the understanding and skills of MSME players assisted by the Central Bengkulu Regency Cooperative and Small Business Office in human resource management (HR) in the digital era and how MSME Business Actors utilize Banking technology to improve MSME businesses. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, contributing around 60% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and absorbing more than 97% of the national workforce (Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, 2021). However, many MSMEs face challenges in access to financing and technology. This research aims to develop MSMEs through the utilization of digital banking technology and advance micro businesses by providing KUR Mikro loan facilities. Using quantitative and qualitative approaches, this study will analyze the impact of digital technology on MSME performance and the effectiveness of the KUR Mikro program in improving the competitiveness of micro enterprises.

BerbaExcessive sugar consumption among adolescents poses a significant public health concern due to its association with obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance nutritional literacy and raise awareness among teenagers regarding the dangers of excessive sugar intake through the use of communicative and engaging visual media. The target participants were students of SMA 4 Kota Bengkulu, with face-to-face education, interactive discussions, and distribution of visual media such as booklets and educational videos. The program was a cross-disciplinary collaboration involving the Departments of Communication, Nursing, and Computer Science at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Results indicated improved student understanding of sugar-related health risks, enhanced ability to read nutrition labels, and more critical attitudes in choosing healthier foods. The evaluation suggests integrating nutrition literacy into school curricula and empowering students as change agents.
